  1. Hi,

I have the 'Check VSC', Engine and Traction warning on as well. Detected that the engine misfired. What usually happens is the engine will misfire during a cold start in the morning, and while driving as well. The Engine warning will keep flashing. Did you experience such symptoms with yor car as well?

    Kind regsards,

    tec

  2. Hi, sorry for the delay. The Check VSC etc is a very common fault. Mine was the EGR valve and was done by Lexus Stoke - the EGR valve had been replaced under 12 months ago so under warranty. You should be able to negotiate a free or reduced repair as they fail so often (assuming it is that)

  3. Hi bigmick777,

I am having that same problem you encountered before which is the Check VSC, Engine and Traciton light on. Do you mind telling me which Lexus Dealer you went to?

  4. Hi Guys, I am having this problem as well. Check VSC, Engine and Traction light on. Whenever this happens, I would feel the car misfiring first then the warning and lights. I got the car in the UK, but now I am back in Malaysia with car. Took it to Lexus Malaysia, and they were quite reluctant to check it out since I didn't buy the car from them. Anyway, the errors were P0301 and P0304, which means Cylinder 1 and 4 misfiring. I have changed all the plugs and the coils for these 2 cyclinders but the problem is still there. I have run out of ideas. Don't even dare drive the car as I am afraid the unburnt fuel from the misfiring might screw up the cat converter. Any experience or ideas on what might have caused the misfiring? tec
