Hi guys! I am getting funny noise(like a whistle) coming from front vents when air circulation starts on the cold engine .It is not the first time when it happened ,firstly I couldn't find where the noise was coming from ..then next morning (only when engine is cold)I started playing with the air con and ventilation system and I noticed that when I swtiched off the fan ,the whistle was gone as-well. If you leave the fan on ,the whislte noise will go away after 5-10 minutes engine running.Anyone had this problem before ?Any ideas what that could be?Many thanks in advance Jack

I have read in handbook that while you have accident your door are getting unlocked so you can safely get out from the car ,this is a safety feature made by lexus ,anyway I still cannot active auto lock door system when driving...I went through all instructions carefully and still nothing..thanks anyway

Hi guys! Just a quick update regarding my towbar...Got in touch with a company called PF Jones and they fitted me a towar for around 380 pounds-Witter detachable!That was the cheapest quote I got!Engineer came to my address ,he did a great job ,all was done in about 2 hours ,the bumper needed to be cut slightly,but they always cut to the size of a towbar ,I am very pleased Any questions do not hesitate to contact me!

I still cannot set automatic door locking ...probably same as previous guys,need to take it to lexus and ask them if my car has got facility..

Hi everyone! I have rx400h SR 2007 ,can I activate auto lock door when driving? I can't find any information about it in the book..I had is250 se-l before and that facility was already activated when I bought the car..I am thinking perhaps car version has got something to do with auto lock?

I agree with some of you...my first lexus was is 250 se-l and when I bought it ,rims had corrosion on them and someone has sprayed front two rims...recently i bought rx400h and rims are spotless and car is 1 year older...i come from poland and we have loads of snow sometimes we get over 2meters and when it starts snowing then snows stays for over 3-4 months,the salt is always on the roads for all this time temp drops sometime to -20 celsius so as you can see there is no good weather to wash your car because it will get frozen in minutes:)and I have never experienced corrosion on alloys..therefore I agree with ChrisIS200SportTTE there must be something in this type of salt guys. Hi! Anyone knows what type of bulbs are needed to fit rx400h 2007 reg.I have xenons just not sure if i need d2s ?Is it possible that same type of car and model has got different bulbs or perhaps better will be if I look myself under bonnet? cheers

Hi guys! Quick update on this topic.... Headlight has been replaced this morning by lexus,I will watch it now for any condensation ,also black button for (jet washers)works now,they told me some cable wasn't connected properly to the headlight..:) cheers

Hi guys!Just a quick one!I had condensation on my right hand side front headlight and I asked dealer to replace the headlight,which he did...yeah but 6-7 days later condensation appeared again on the glass inside ...!!!I was so p...off!I rang dealer and he said to me exactly same what previous members posted in this topic that it happens because of weather and it is NORMAL!!!I could not believe what he said to me ,,,I said how come then my other side healdight which is 5 year old has no condensation whatsoever??I need to come back again to dealer,thing is I bought car over two hours away from home and I will be taking car either Lexus Chester or Liverpool..because it is closer to me ,but Sheffield Lexus (where I got the headlight fixed)they said they can fax the paperwork when the new part(1 year warranty) was fitted and they said apparently I can repair anywhere in the UK still under warranty..

Probably same fuse !I will take it to Lexus as soon as I receive documents of extended warranty(few months left)..They should fix it for me?Chris can I ask you something else mate?Perhaps you know..I had a condensation on the right and side headlight :megaangry: ,dealer replaced it for me for a brand new..About 6-7 days later condensation appeared again the inside glass :megaangry: ,do you think it could be the back seal (white colour plastic)?Cheers

Hi guys!when we talk about the battery can someone please confirm what type of battery is required?I looked in the catalogue in car shop the other day and it shows 45Ah(or similar Ah and of course same size what plastic battery box so it fits perfectly!)I thought that you need something bigger for the size of the car..Cheers

I bought my rx400h a week ago..:)I have headlights washer (black button on the dash)I know when light are on and if you press that button it should wash yuor headlights but mine not doing anything ,..any advice will be appreciated...perhaps something to do with fuses?i forgot to add when I press wiper blades towards myself then jet washers and headlight washers work together.Mine is SR version. Hi mate!I would ring Lexus headquaters and put a complaint...then you will see what they say to you tell them your story and also that you felt dissapointed by the service and that wasnt explainted to you ,on the endthey left you with nearly £500 bill!

Guys! Anybody knows why when you look on car details some dealers write 208bhp others put 279b or similar)are there teo versions of RH400h with different power??thanks

Daniel thank you for detailed reply.Yeah you're right when taking corners it rear parking sensors it could be an issue but will check it out if these can be turned off..I asked about M.L. premium sound system because last night I was on internet looking for RH 400h and I have seen different versions like SE SR SE-L(they were the most expensive) and I tried to see difference and I noticed some SE models were with sat nav some were without..when I magnified pics of dashboard I could see there were Mark Levinson written on the radio..no worries will check it out as well.Daniel how about the hybrid system?I have heard you have to replace special type battery every so often and apparently they are not cheap?when do you have to replace them and how much approx they cost?Any troubles with this hybrid system?Iam thinking about 4-5years old car ..many thanks in advance Jack

Hi!thanks for reply!i was gonna look for car which has got parking sensors fitted so you are saying that could interfiere with connecting a tow bar??sorry i dont understand.also when you look on SE model does sat nav is an optional ?and if you have sat nav does it always come with mark levinsen sound system?manythanks jack
