    I am a lexus man defo!Thanks for your reply!Very good news!Brilliant!!I never thought you would get 22mpg by towing caravan!I love my Lexus is250 but need to change for a 4x4 and now I will defo go for RX400h!Just one more question:tow bar can be fitted to any RX 400h model isn't it?? many thanks Jack

    Hi ! I am driving IS 250 SE-L at the moment and I love it, but I will have to replace my current car for a 4x4 .Next year we are buying a boat on trailer and we will be travelling to other countries ,so I was thinking whether I need to buy 3.0 tdi or get Lexus RX400h (not a lot of RX 400h for sale have tow bar fitted so I would have to fit tow bar myself.)I like Lexus very much and I would love to stay with this brand but I just don't know what would be the fuel consumption if you travelled 1600 miles towing a boat approx.700kg weight.Would it be ok or better go for 3.0tdi?? many thanks

    Hello everybody ! I have been thinking about buying between two cars RX400h and VW Touareg 3.0tdi.I know nearly everything about VW Touareg 3.0 tdi ...VW has got very poor spec and personally I dont like it but I need car with tow bar for family purpose.. I just don't know how tow bar works on RX400h (electric-petrol)car? can it really manage towing?Any advice?Anyone driving RH400h and uses tow bar?How about economy?Can you still do around 30mpg ?What about towing trailers on motorway-fuel efficiency?Many thanks in advance for your help in this matter Jack

    Yeah you are right that would invalidate insurance,it would be dangerous as well..better leave it as it is now:) you conviced me ,i won't do it!thanks a lot for advice on this topic cheers

    I am sorry for asking MR PERFECT !!take a few deep breaths before you explode!Take it easy dude ,the one who preaches about the food, phones,etc.Statisticly dude bikers cause more road accidents than anybody else..Anyway when you drive car you have to carefully watch side mirrors before someone will overtake you 130mph!So take it easy dude!

    Hello everybody! I've got is 250 SE-L ,on the last service I have asked if they can remove security option so we could watch dvd's when driving ,they said they knew how to do this but they can't because of driver's and other people safety. Anybody knows how to remove the lock so we can watch dvds when driving?? Apparently it is easy to do it. thanks in advance :winky:

    Hiya! can someone tell me please when you buy mods to your car(fancy grills),upgrades parts,performance parts,etc. from other countries like Japan and America or sometimes on ebay says Asia..do you have to pay customs fees,import taxes,etc. ?? I am asking because I have heard different stories ,some people paid some don't ,is that true ?and when do you have to pay import tax or customs fees?I would like to upgrade my grille I have seen some on ebay just not to sure...about taxes can someone pleas help? many thanks jack

    Whatever floats your boat, it's your money after all. There's a 220D (think it's a 2006/7) for sale on PH that the owner reckons has had £50K's worth of work done on it, mostly cosmetic. Www.lexus.sewellparts.com the link which you supplied in previous post,i emailed couple of days ago still no reply...i like exhaust tip for is250 (55dollars each)i wanted to know delivery time ,total costs,etc.no reply does anyone know how long delivery will take?has anyone used this website before?do you have to be actually logged in to shop on this website?     Hi! I am not an electrician ,but I think you won't damage DRL unit by using less amps..I would go on website and contact manufacturer ans ask them .. :winky:

    hi thanks for getting back to me ,i will try pressing twice lock button but iam sure handbook said that was working as 'double lock' on the car..can't find answer in the handbook anyway,the dealer who i spoke to was lexus in chester. It must be something easy ,perhaps some option on sat nav screen not sure.. Thanks anyway

    Hello all ! I just joined the club :winky: ! Got a question coz lexus dealer couldn't help me.. I am travelling quite often with my dog and I can't lock my car because few seconds later when dog moves ,then alarm goes off,can someone help and tell me how to switch off this facility or deactivate My car is Lexus is 250 2008 model automatic with sat nav THANKS GUYS JACK

    Hi ! ....forgot to add I am also looking for driver's side door panel black color leather ((in the middle)also has got full of scratches (women nails:(),I would like to replace it as well thanks for your help p.s.recently checked all breakers and still can;t find it.
