  1. I have the same, shacky at 60 normal driving, shacky when braking. Have bought new discs, and will the pads already on and will clean everything else up and see what happened
  2. They ain't. I only want rear ones as I have 40 all round and want to raise the rear and saw a pair of 30mm gs300 ones for £30
  3. I have a set of 40mm springs on my is200 and and want the rear a bit higher and saw a cheap pair of 30mm gs300 springs and wondered if they would fit
  4. I have a set of 40mm springs on my is200 and and want the rear a bit higher and saw a cheap pair of 30mm gs300 springs and wondered if they would fit
  5. not got strut braces or anything apart from lowering springs
  6. I have a mk2 jetta and a Lexus is200 sport and with has a golf 2.8 v6 4motion and a pug 206cc. I had the golf mapped to have all flat spots taken out and it great off the line. Get one. And with the 4 wheel drive it's safer than the Lexus
  7. Had a look on eBay for wrap but don't know what stuff to buy. Mate bought some and it was like tin foil
  8. very very nice. defo doing mine. have you seen the white carbon wrap
  9. thats a bit much for me just now. i have lowering spings, just want shocks for better handling
  10. my old home i had the same problem. ever so often i would get a new scratch or valve caps missing on my golf
  11. they are going for around the £2000 mark over here and i think i will buy another
  12. I cant stress enough how you should check the timimg belt ever so often. My car had timing belt done at 64000 on paper, so i thought my belt would be fine, until i read all the posts on this site and i dicided to have a wee check. Well was i shocked to find that i had only a hair left holding it all together. Yes the belt had been replaced but the pullies hadnt and because of that the belt had been rubbing more and more and stripping it to pieces. Well new timing belt kit ordered and hope to be at the house when i get home, and then push down the hill to a nice guy who is fitting it. I want to thank this site and everyone who has posted on here with the advice and saving my lexus to live another day.
  13. Ye think it's because it has a straight through already on it, and when I leave foe work at 5am I can't be assed listening to it. Will get another one made up
  14. It did look good but it became a bit loud
