  1. Dzrastvuytye, ochen pryatna! Welcome. I came back from a busines strip in Minsk. I saw no Lexus at all, so yours must be a special sight, especially given the modifications and improvements. All I saw were clapped out 80's and 90's Mercs so your will be refreshing sight. Byla priyatna paz nakomitsa, dude!
  2. I'll drive up to the Lakes. Never been that far north before. Has to be after September though so I can put on me clear indics and side repeaters and 17s
  3. Welcome. I'm just up the road - Redbridge. Funny, I was a Vauxhall nut too when I lived in Welling - I think I had all from Corsas to Omegas
  4. "The proof that this is more profit-driven than before is that there are no fixed premiums any more. If you ring for a quote, the company doesn't tell you its price. They ask, 'How much have you been quoted already?' and then try to match it. In other words, their best price is flexible, which means that some people MUST be overpaying for the same level of cover." = Rug dealers from Morocco to Indonesia. The difference is that the rug delaer's word is their bond and they have personal accountability. "When will we as a country turn round and say a big loud NO" You can't. It's illegal. We will get stun-tazed and sent to Guantanamo if we speak up. However, if what we're protesting about isn't too important (fuel and road and insuance and taxes) then we will be tolerated and then forgotten. In the end, most of us moan a bit and then acquiesce, whilst harbouring dreams of leaving the country but not doing so. Now I'm depressed, time to go for a (over taxed, over-insured) drive.
  5. Hey everyone, my 3rd post here. I'm on my 2nd LS400, dark blue £522 95N which I haven't yet picked up, but I'm salivating. I've driven and owned lots of interesting stuff over the past 25 years, but my first purple 1990 LS400 I had for the past 10 years ago will always be home. I hope the blue one will be a worthy successor.
  6. Hi First post here. I just bought a 95N for £522.67 with 11m Mot and 2m tax in dark blue. Haven't picked it up yet, but salivating. This will be my 2nd LS400; my first was a 90H purple one. I think the 94-97 ones look smoother. Anyway, I'm wondering where I can buy clear fron indicators and side repeaters - anyone know please?
  7. However, I'm in West Sussex, and there is another on this forum from West Sussex so it's not impossible..and we're all LS owners! Phil East Lahndahn any good?
