  1. Happy Birthday lil_rob!

  2. Ah I see wow bet the behind dash bit is a ball ache!! Lol think I will try bleeding it once more, when I do it seems to blow warm for about 30 seconds then back to cold.... would you be willing to post? Its about 130 mile from me I'm at junction 5 on m1 :( obviously shortfuse gets first refusal don't want to tread on any toes
  3. Where are you mate if shortfuse doesn't want I will take hole thing as I'm having same issue..... is it just all in the control panel with all the controls on?
  4. I got a bargin on flebay got 2 apexi twin funnel filters for 30 quid.... for the breather filter I just used one of them mini k&n style filters if I new how to upload pics would show ya
  5. Tbh mate I built my own cost about 40-50 quid and that's with a apexi filter I can email some pics it it helps....
  6. Ok no problem thanks for the advice I have been into Toyota today to order some wheel studs so will get a oil filter when I collect the studs.... thanks agen
  7. Hi guys been away a while but just bought my 2nd is200, had her a couple if weeks now and looking at doing a mini service just the filters and oil really..... my main question is really the oil filter... I have been looking at the HKS oil filter.... it claims 30% better flow my main worry is the vvti as it runs on oil pressure so could this damage it or maybe make it kick in earlier or later? Any advice much welcomed Also spark plugs.... I have been looking at the Bosch super 4s.... has anyone used this before my friend that used to work for Toyota said I should only use iridiom tipped plugs otherwise they will burn out very quickly... anyone any experiences or advice? Thanks guys :)
  8. Hi mate did you fix the issue? If so what was it? As i have just bought my 2nd is200 and am having the exact same issue..... at first i thought a airlock so did a coolant change and made sure was all bled and still no change.... any ideas ppl?
  9. Hi there guys just a quick question i have made and fitted my own induction kit as many of us is200 owners have..... my question is, the air flow meter sensor (or what i assume it is) plugs into the side of the standard airbox obviously there is no place for this with the induction kit..... it has brought on my engine management light and i was just wondering what the remedy is for this? Do i just simply drill a hole in either the alloy pipe or one of the silicon hoses and mount in there? from what i can see i would have to extend the wires on the loom to do this..... one of my friends has told me if the car uses a cambus system i cannot do this as it works on voltage or something? i am more into mechanics then electicals so its not really my forte Also there is a breather pipe that plugs into the airbox what do i do with this do i just block it off? leave it hanging or do i agen have to adapt what i have already made to accomadate it? anyone that has already done this or has any idea what i should do any advice would be great help Cheers guys p.s sorry if its abit of a dunce question just want to make sure i get it right
  10. Hiya guys, just to let you all know the cigg lighter was ok was just the actual lighter that was faulty chargers and such all work in the socket.... Thanks for advice tho guys

  12. Well i have had a look on ebay.... for 1m alloy pipe and all the silicon bits (without the reducer for the filter- obviously size of reducer will differ from filter to filter) works out just under £40 (excluding filter) will post item numbers up if anyone else needs them.....
