  1. Anyone know which steel wheels will fit a CT200 so I can get a set of winter tyres ordered? May go for 16" narrower wheel and tyre instead of the 17s that came standard. Gerry
  2. Surprisingly got used to the hybrid system quite quickly. Of course it's a totally different way of driving but nice to have the instant power when sport mode selected.
  3. I had one of these nicked as well when the car was only a month old. Unfortunately, my mrs was forced off the road by a fast oncoming car (overtaking on double solid lines) and kerbed both nearside wheels badly. We took it to our local tyre dealer to check the tracking which is usually £25 but they said they were unable to help as the car was so new they did not have the info on their computer for the four wheel laser alignment. Took it to our local Lexus stealer where the tracking check cost a whopping £79.95! It did not require adjustment and he said he had reduced the price for us! What? Anyway, back to the missing dust cap. Next time I washed the car I noticed they had fitted one, so that was why the tracking was so expensive!
  4. Mine did exactly the same. I too turned off DST. I have turned this back on again in December (after the USA date) but the clock just reverts back to its previous summer time. Initially, I thought this was a clever function to have but it's no good if it does not work. May get the dealer to look into it next year when the first service is due. Maybe by then there will be a firmware update as there must be other problems that can only be solved with software.
  5. How are people managing in the snow in a CT200? Yesterday was my first experience in the snow in this car and I found it to have very poor traction. It doesn't look like the traction control can be turned off which can be annoying. I was driving (like I normally would) up a hill yesterday and the car car just slowed to a standstill. Because the traction control was cutting in the abs was applied to improve traction but it just stopped. Petrol engine refused to rev like any other car. When I gave up and turned around there was a very unpleasant smell for about ten minutes when I thought I had damaged something. Everything seemed to be ok thankfully and the car performed ok for the rest of our journey. Not too keen to take it out again in the snow, which is difficult as we live at the top of a hill! Anyone else experienced difficulties these last few days?
  6. Hi all. Been reading this forum for a few months to gather info but thought I would take the plunge and join today. Never owned a Lexus before we bought this Ultra Blue CT200 in August. We were at the Australian GP in March this year and saw a load of CTs racing in the celebrity race (on youtube if anyone has not seen it) and liked the car then. My mrs and I decided to sell both our cars and just run a CT to cut down on rad tax, insurance and servicing costs. Loving the comfort and quality so far. It's great not seeing many of these around as I enjoy driving something a little unusual.
