Changing the subject only slightly.........
While using the usb stick anyone notice that you have to turn the volume way up high to hear the tracks? Very annoying when you switch back to radio and forget to turn it down again first!
i was all set ready to order the parts and do the job but have since realised i think these comments refer to earlier models where the cruise controls are built into the steering wheel and not the stalk in the column like the MY14.
Hi Dan, welcome to the forum.
I am not sure if you require the same parts on your model as on mine (your dealer would be able to check for you) but just letting you know that the cruise controls are not on the steering wheel. They are on a new stalk which is added to the column at about the five o'clock position. Can't see it being different on the new models.

Each time I swap my wheels for the winter in October (then again in March) I phone the insurers to let them know. It does not affect my premium nor do they make a charge but they told me they do need to know when making any changes to the vehicle.
I too have a set of winter wheels and tyres and can honestly say that they make a huge difference in traction in the colder temperatures. They were excellent when we were in the lake district at the end of March this year when the snow was bad. Our CT was the only car moving in the small village where we stayed.
do you have the part numbers for the items that are needed for the retro fit
L84632-34011 Switch, A/Drive
L84633-48020 Switch, Cruise C
L45186-76010-0C0 Cover Steering
L90159-50199 Screw (qty 2)
That was all that was required.

Just had cruise control fitted last week (thanks Geof) at my local Chester dealer after a friendly email from Antony Wilson at Lookers. So pleased to have this back on my car. A worthwhile addition to the CT.

I have just re-fitted my 16" winter alloys and Michelin Primacy tyres. Used them for the first time last winter and cannot stress too much what a difference they made! You will notice too. My first winter with the standard 17" wheels were a worrying time when the snow arrived. Also, less risk of kerb damage.
