Hi, I have a IS 220D and yesterday was told the brake pipes had failed the MOT and that it was a big job and the fuel tank would have to be removed. Could you tell me how you resolved your problem with the lines and at what cost. Regards.

I have the same sound. Quite a loud 'Click'. I read somewhere it is the windscreen. Cannot remember why though.

They have booked it in and due for recovery in an hour or two. I didn't mention mileage, just the date of registration.

Just had my is220d si taken away to the main dealer for the same problem. AA man says error code 2002. It is within warranty period but now I have noticed that the mileage is 61,750. I didn't mention this, and wasn't asked when I was speaking Lexus assist. What do you think the chances are of it being done under warranty? It is rather worrying that such a lot of these engines have the same problem and Lexus haven't recalled them.

I bought my IS220D privately in April with a full dealer service history. It is due its first MOT on the 20th September but it has done 60,500 miles. When I was returning home last night, I lost power, the vsc skid light came on and the engine light. I just wondered what view Lexus would take on the warranty. Also do I ring the dealership or the main breakdown number? Any help would be appreciated.
