  1. Was shocked to see another SportCross, the same colour as mine even, pulling into Sainsburys in Eastbourne last Sunday. I was in the wife's Yaris, unfortunately. Never expected to see another, especially one so close to home.
  2. Has anyone here used an Apexi panel filter? I've seen K+N and Pipercross being recommended, but I had an Apexi induction kit on previous car ( Silvia) and that was generally regarded as being the best filter you could get for the money. This time round, I'm only after a panel filter, not an induction kit.
  3. What a pretty SportCross!I don't think you really need to go on a detailing course, that looks immaculate. Are your front and rear lights aftermarket items or the originals with a bit of customising? That's the only thing I dislike my SportCross, the rear "Lexus" lights, haha!
  4. RS200s have better fuel economy, as they are considerably lighter, so long as you aren't revving that glorious BEAMS up to 9,000! About 35mpg, from what I've heard, which is pretty decent. Insurance is more expensive, I pay just over £300 on my Sportcross, Altezza was £250 more. Maybe an IS300 is a better bet than either? Most of the pros from both choices.
  5. Thank you, J. I had not been pushing the button...I rushed outside to try it, hadn't even noticed the button, before. I feel like a proper sausage, now! Glad I posted, though, a fast and helpful response!
  6. Hello, I bought a Sportcross a couple of weeks ago and thought it was about time I introduced myself. It's a 2002 model with full Lexus history. I bought it as I needed a more practical car, having recently become a parent, and also because it has a bit of firepower for use on European motorways. It came with some very nice Team Dynamics wheels and has only 84k on the clock. I'm very happy with it, so far, the 2JZ rumbles away nicely when prompted and I haven't even tried manual mode, yet! The only fault is the windscreen washer doesn't work, any advice? Thanks.
