I was running .5 to .6 most times with my turbo setup, but i did have (Greddy E-manage ECU ) but then saying that i never had it mapped all the time i had the Turbo, i should have done but just never got round to doing it as it was running OK! , within aweek of fitting my Turbo i had it on rolling road, and it made 228 bhp, :winky:

Dont go doing what i did, get it setup on a dyno.......thats the only way to get it all working the way it should be,

The frist thing i will be doing when my V8 swap is done, is geting it on the dyno to set it all up........... :winky:

my buddy and me found out last saturday that this thing of the throttle body does some fancy noises:

and everytime I turn the car off (or just ignition off) it makes a lil noise like "eeeeek"... we think that this part do that noise....

any thoughts on this??

bad bad news!!

the shop called few minutes ago and told me that the throttle-valve got a damage and it has to be replaced.. but a new one is about 1300 euro (without tax)..... holy omg!!!!!

This is why i went for the V8 :D its all to do with the torque the V8 has so much low down :winky: if i was just to drop the V8 in my IS and not mod it it would be a very quick car, BUT im going to try and fit not 1 but 2 Turbo's.....if i can make room that is lol and by puting a Turbo on the V8 i will see 450 rwhp

Does anyone have a fromt lower valance for a Mk1? the black plastic bit along the bottom of the front bumper on single colour cars.

mine's a bit broken and the 2 breakers (from fleabay) I have spoken to only want to sell the whole bumper skin with the lower valance on it.

Also, I'm due for an oil change, I'm thinking of changing the plugs at the same time, is there a whole load of stuff to remove to get at them?

What plugs do people use? are Toyota ones worth the extra cash over the aftermarket Bosch 4 prong ect?

First / Only 1G-FE IS 200 over 400 bhp in UK

Ad i think you will be the only one to take the 1G-FE to over 400bhp as the rest of us are not that mad :P :winky: can not help but think of what it has cost you to get it there this is why i went with the V8 as with this i will see 500+ RWHP to start with just by adding a Turbo.........

yea i have Virgin Media as well, its had its ups & downs..........but at the end off the day with all take overs you going to get this to start with.........but when he has it the way he wants it will be alot better than before + he will not let Sky bully him! as they are takeing Sky to court over the price........in the long run we should see good price drop.

i think its the bottom one that you should have cut into, but im not 100% as it was along time ago i did this, the info is on here somewhere ;)

The only thing you can do is dicconnet the pipe you have cut into , and try the 2nd pipe thats down there .....

can you get a better pic,s of the 2 pipes then i would see if you cut into the right pipe or not, but as it is i can not tell what pipe you have cut into from them pic,s you have posted ;)
