Iv got a TDITUNNING box fitted and improved cae alot picks up ablut 1500 to 1600rpm. Mpg from 31mpg to 44mpg on b roads will go to 49 on motorway. I can use 6th gear but need to drop down if i want to over take. 6th isnt as bad as before the box i have to set cruise control to about 73mph for it to not feel dead.Miles in a tank 500 to 550 max granny driving. Iv noticed that theres alot of noise when driving in 6th i have 225/40/18 tryes on 18x9 split rims very noisy at 70mph i know its not the gear but dose seem noisier than 5th. I want to take the box out to test with out the box to compare the drive diffrence. I read on previose post that the chip helps wear and tear etc but thats no diffrence than modifying any car to go faster is it? So far im happy with the chip.next custom twin exit. Lowerd with springs.tints next tomorrow and a lip thats all very subtle

Hi guys has anyone had this new treatment terraclean. Looks good kind of like all the DPF cleaners we seem to need for our is220ds.maybe this could help clean out dpf etc aswell. My car runs great for now with the tunning chip.but might look at getting dpf cleaned now rather than wait till it blows up lol. Any comments welcome

Theres no downhill lol id sit in 6th but struggles.littlen niggles with car but worth it

Ye its just the dpf instead of a cat.how loud is the cat.i was looking at twin exit like the 250 and remove dpd. but not sure how single exit would look like. You any pics of it on?

So you have fitted the exhaust onto the is220d.was it a straight fit.a d was it just a back box or cat back etc

Hi guys i drive to work on all B roads from edinburgh to newcastle every week. But iv noticed i sit in 5th gear at the revs are about 2k and i think its on verge of turbo spool up constantley so its clearly effecting Mpg Any thoughs ?

Im sure i saw something on maybe an american site about is200 exhaust on the 220.be a bit chealer than custom.

Dose the is 220d have same blades as is 200 fitment.

Bought a tdi tunning chip of chap on the forum .installed pretty easy and feels like its improved car alot.not much turbo lag kicks in about 1500 1600rpm mark. Mpg increased alot probaly not acurate.saying im getting 48 avg. Creaps to 60 and over sometimes. Before it would say 16mpg or 32.1 max so id say its helped. Going to clean egr valve in better weather since its at top of engine and looks very very simple unless im wrong.
