  1. I might have to give some companies and get some prices then :) Thanks for the replies
  2. Do you know any where in the Hampshire area?
  3. Simple as in, click, buy, receive and fit ha Haven't really looked into custom built tbh
  4. Yea did think that but decided to keep it simple :)
  5. Right, well my exhaust is literally on its way out.. haha So i am after peoples advice with the cat back systems on the bay This one.. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LEXUS-IS200-XE10-2-0-1998-2005-STAINLESS-STEEL-CAT-BACK-EXHAUST-SYSTEM-/390535474863?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item5aedba6eaf Looks pretty good for a jap cannon! but the only problem is that there is no lambda hole and I've read that they're not that good a fit and need adjusting?.. This one.. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LEXUS-IS200-2-0-STAINLESS-STEEL-CAT-BACK-EXHAUST-SYSTEM-EX8144-/200750289917?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item2ebda653fd Actually has a lambda hole lol and looks a better fit but not sure if i like the look of it.. Or this one.. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Lexus-IS200-98-05-Cobra-Sport-Performance-Exhaust-Non-Resonated-LX03-/130591407104?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item1e67dabc00 Really like this one but says it doesn't fit the sport model? I have the sport model but just can't understand why it wouldn't fit? Can you get on to fit the sport? Let me know! Thanks!
  6. Its actually slowly separating and getting louder n louder lol Haha bet that was fun!! Thanks! See you around :) Just for an update, The headlights have stopped turning them selves on ha and ordered a solid lightweight flywheel the other day, only makes sense
  7. Really? Some people are mad lol Yea that's the plan! Plus headers :) That's alright then but is it a main dealer thing? or will motor factors do it?
  8. nova's and R5's haha do they even exist any more?
  9. Ah right well then they could be coming out seeing that only one lights up lol Yee my bad haha
  10. Hi! I'm Will (Slimm) from Portsmouth and just bought my self a 2000 IS200 sport! (I don't have any pics yet but it is an orangey-red ha) I must admit, i have been stalking this forum for a fair while lol debating on whether to get one or not but after alot of thought, decided to go for it! I killed my old Audi a3 1.8t which was going pretty well with a hybrid turbo kicking out 230 ponies! (but at the front wheels isn't exactly great lol) But the loom was in a very bad condition from the day i bought it and it killed the ecu and it completely killed my interest in it!.. Ha soo it was on to the next. (I've been braking the a3 and made my more than my money back so it's not so much of a tragedy) So this time was after RWD and have been going back n forth with bmw's, Audi quattro's and th IS200 but the bmw is too common for me and I've been put off Audi's for life atm haha. So went and got it yesterday and all seems fine and am really happy with it! But at £900 it has come with it's problems lol I'm a mechanic so it's not all bad! There's just a few things I'm not clued up on.. The problems I'm sure someone can either tell me what the common solution (i hope) or direct me in the right way! Headlights staying on after I lock the car.. I've been reading a fairly big thread about it all and yes, my interior light door switch on the drivers side is playing up and will need replacing so there's a start, plus i will look at the fuse box and connections etc.. The clutch is slipping and found oil coming from where the bell housing bolts to the engine. I'm thinking that there is a leak somewhere and the clutch is contaminated. Anyone know anything about this? I ordered an Exedy stage 1 clutch kit last night. One of the belts squeak when i turn the steering wheel when stationary and the steering jolts. I will replace all of the belts when i service it. There is nothing else to worry about with this is there? CD player doesn't work, only radio and it forgets it's memory. I am not too fussed about it and could just replace it with a double din unit at some point. It has screens in the back of the head rests? There are two switches under the traction control button that lights one of them up and the other bypasses the cd player. Was this a standard option? Can't find any dvd player but just alot of wiring in the boot on the right. I'll probably just take it all out. I also found a good enough excuse to replace the exhaust system hahaha! My plans are for a stanced cruiser and once it's all up to scratch then D2 coilovers and stretched RS's are the way for me! So if anyone could shed some lights on a few of the problems then please do! I'm hoping to hear IS200 common faults and fixes lol Thanks! :)
