  1. Yup, a couple One car I have always wanted...one day I will. Must have been a sad day when you let that go.
  2. Never driven in France....must take mine over there some time.
  3. Slightly off the subject here...but are there many roads you can let loose in Guernsey?
  4. Nice car...that colour was my second choice if I couldn't get the blue one. I really like that colour when it's clean and the sun is shining. Looks great. No idea how you managed that mpg though..I never can get it past 24 no matter how I drive.
  5. That's what I'm worried about Stuart.....bit late once it's on to not like it. Might have to live with the occasional stone chip and try and hide it with the touch up paint.
  6. Got back from The Wheel Specialist and now have my ways on the right side. Next stop getting a quote for the bonnet respray. The owner of the WS mentioned Armour guarding the front of the car to stop stone chips from happening again. I know our cars are prone to getting chips so was wondering if anyone on here has had it done?
  7. Well I will not be making that mistake again. Once bitten and all that.
  8. Thanks for that Stuart...will buy some. And at least your wheels are on the right way!! Andy
  9. Looks great....seeing those blue calipers has given me some ideas now. Where did you get the stickers for them from?
  10. Both right guys.....the finish is great on them though. It has a slight sparkle effect to the paint which looks great in the sunshine. I was worried about how shiny they would be but they really set off the paint job. It does look as if I will be going back on Monday to have them swapped over and I assume they will need to redo the alignment. Only other problem I have with the car is that it seems to accumulate stone chips from motorway driving. I have a pretty bad one on the bonnet that will need a respray to fully get rid of it. The Wheel Specialist have recommended a local body shop that can do the job to a high standard although I worry how much that will cost.
  11. So picked up the car from the Wheel Specialist in Fareham this morning after having my wheels refurbed and slightly changed in colour. I had them done as either the Lexus dealer or the previous owner had tarted up them after some slight kerbing and thought it was a good opportunity to have them fresh and how I wanted them. They look great but can you see the slight problem??? A slight clue..this is the offside rear.
  12. Thank you Peter...if we get a nice day I can devote some time to making it look nice again. Already bought some new cleaning materials for it and will take some pictures when it is done.
  13. Thanks guys...had a play and managed to rip a CD to the HD. It took some time though and using the best quality settings seemed to eat up about 8% of the free space.
  14. It easy to do as even I managed it, sorry cant remember now how I did it? If my memory serves me right? you just insert the cd into the player and the copy option appears on the screen? Thank you..will give it another go this afternoon.
  15. I have been playing about with the audio tonight and the dealer said there is a way of ripping CDs to the HD. I have the HDD tab on my screen but cannot see how to start the rip. I've checked the manual and cannot see any mention of it. Is it easy to do?
  16. Good to know I might see another ISF on the roads around here.
  17. Thanks..it is a gorgeous machine. Hopefully the weather will pick up and I can go on more cross country trips.
  18. Been a long time lurker on here so thought it right to say hello. So on Saturday I picked up my ISF from Lexus Hedge End and have loved every minute of it. It's a 2011 model with just over 21k on the clock and drives like a dream. I have come from a 2007 IS250 and the shift on power and road holding is just phenomenal. I have to stop myself from easily hitting stupid speeds on the motorway. The ride is just perfect and not that much harsher than my previous car. This is just a quick iPhone picture and I will post some more when I have given it a full polish. I can't wait for the next south coast meet and actually see some other ISFs. In Hampshire I have only had one go past me in 3 years. There must be more around here.
