  1. Sorry Greg Non gold members are not allowed to sell on forum.
  2. Hi, My gearbox recently developed a small problem, on fast acceleration and high revs change from first to second gear results in very bad noise, like crunching noise. I don't really want to repair that, but I would like to swap manual gearbox for automatic one. It suit me better. Is there a lot of work to achieve that? thanks
  3. Thanks for the advice. Its all done with helping hand from The-Acre
  4. Hi Chris From Here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/281074267363?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649 - those are 3 big ones so You will need to buy 2 packages and from here: http://www.crazyleds.co.uk/Blue-286-T5-3xPLCC-2-wedge-base-push-fit-led.html - 2 small ones, please note, that those ones are a bit loose in the holders and can fell off because of the vibration, so I have used a little bit of epoxy glue to hold them down and it works :) THX
  5. Just a quick. Question. My tyres need changing and my mate has 2 x 205/45/17 for sale. Can i fit them. Asking as the factory spec is 215/45/17. Thx
  6. I need a advice. Please could anyone recommend a garage or mechanic or someone who do know how to check suspension and will find a problem in Nottingham Newark or Lincoln. Going abroad in 3 weeks and annoyingly there is clunking/metalic noise from front left side, when going over speed bumps and things like that. Few mechanics already seen that and they say that everything is ok. regards
  7. OK, no worries :), still looking forward to it :)
  8. I am in :), but proppably not for overnight stay, but that might change LOL
  9. Little mod - SMD LEDs, picture do not judge the reality. It looks so much better:
  10. Its all been sorted by Lexus, all new parts. They assure me about that and its all on the receipt. Just done 1000 miles and its all good, so hoping for the best really. :)
  11. Ive got a question. Did anyone actually tried to adapt Brembo calipers from Peugeot 406 coupe to is200? They not expensive, but will they fit somehow
  12. Thanks, thats ok. i am going to the garage tomorrow to have a look at my suspension...
  13. Thanks, at the moment, it stopped. Just done 700 miles trip and its all ok. :)
  14. Hi, thanks. I am more than happy to come and have fun :) Thanks

  16. Hi! My car developed a problem. Sometimes on the first gear, when I try to start moving relisting he clutch very slowly it vibrates like hell... Sometimes its all ok. Could it be a prop shaft? or maybe gearbox support? Anyone have had that problem? Clutch been replaced few years ago and is ok. Or it might be dual mass flywheel?
  17. Been in Lexus dealer yesterday for a cambelt change and have same problem with my sliders on front calipers. Will have a quote from them today... See what happens
  18. Thanks for that. It doesnt loose a lot of it, about 5 mm on the scale on 60 miles trip, so not too bad. I am going to change cambelt next week so i will replace pump as well, been quoted 320 for both, cambelt and tentioner and water pump. Not bad at all i think. Regards
  19. Its an old post, but don't want to start another one with similar problem.. I have bigger leak of coolant. It starts when I have topped up coolant to MAX. Today I could clearly see red marks all over the water pump... Few Pictures and red rings showing affected areas. Anyone have idea what is it? Is just a seal or something more serious? Thansk Pictures: What Do You think?

  21. I would, but problem is he might put 10w40 already in, so if i will replace it with 5w30 it might damage it... really dont know what to do...
  22. I just bought my lexus few days ago. I wanted to change the oil in the engine, but previous owner dont know what oil did the service station put in. I know that it suppose to be 5w30, but my engine has 127000 miles at the moment, so I dont want to risk it. If I will put semi synthetic 10w40 Valvoline maxlife oil for the engines with higher millage. Would that damage the engine? thx
  23. Just PM me your address and I'll cut it in half when it comes and post it to you. I won't be needing 5m. Phil Done :)
