Side Protection Strips?

Picked the car up today, is beautiful and very fast...... I'll post some piccies when the weather gets better.

I am wondering if it is possible to get side protection strips that fit an IS-F? Mine is going to be in and out of a lot of car parks the the side strips I had on my previous car really saved the door panels from car park dents. Would like to do the same for the IS-F if possible, but I have done some searching and not come across any so far. So, has anyone ever managed to dig any out? Cheers

Picked it up today, apparently it belonged to a guy called Terry who really looked after it. I've seen a thread by him about the car on this board and I believe it. The car is immaculate and drives amazingly. I took the very long way back just to have a bit of fun with it. I'll snap a couple of piccies when the sun comes out.. Unfortunately, it will now commence getting some serious use, bit of a shame really because if I could afford to I would put it away and only use it on special occasions, it really is that good..

Well, that looks a different colour though photos can be misleading, however mine is an 11 reg rather than a 60, so I think I should be safe... Thanks for the heads up though.

How do I find out which garages are participating in the discounted servicing scheme associated with Gold ownership? I see there are two in Surrey but I can't seem to be able to find out anything more?

Just a bit, i've run a couple of 4x4s (cos of family stuff) before then I ran a chipped volvo which was quick and before that I had a highly tweaked scimitar, now that really was fun and loud..... So its a bit like coming home really... I used to have a favourite roundabout with the scimitar, the perfect place for a slightly drifted exit. I wonder what thats going to be like with the ISF....

Yes, it's a terrible sacrifice to make, I was always ploughing through snowdrifts, wading fords and crossing rough terrain with it (cough). I think I'll live with the odd patch of white stuff... Mind you, thats a thought, are there recommended winter wheels/tyres for an IS-F?

I'm told it has all the services. Salesguy said the owner was very careful looking after it and a member of the owners club, which made me wonder if anyone would recognise the car..

Just popped by to say hello. I've just swapped my Land Cruiser for an IS-F. Pick it up in a couple of days and I can't wait. Looking forward to heaps of fun with it. Jon

I have just bought an IS F from Lexus Derby, picking it up next week, its a 2011, just over 8k miles, Cadoxton Slate colour. looks to be in really good condition. I'm getting divorced so I don't need the Land Cruiser any more..... Just wondered if anyone here knows the car?? Cheers Jon
