i have a service history book for my 2014 so i don't see why you wouldn't have one .

a while ago my amp gave up on my 2014 IS 250 luxury , i tried to get a new one part number 86280-53190 and the price was between 800 -1000 pounds ,that includes breakers yards, in fact one breakers yard up north was 1038 pounds. After a while of using my phone for music I decided to remove the old one and take it into work and dismantle it to see if i could repair it ,no chance as it was burnt out on a part of the pcb board ,however the pcb board had a part number.I put this into google and it directed me to another amp , part number 86280-48250 which was fitted to the 2014 RX450h . These were only £180 and the connections looked the same ,long story short fitted it and it works perfectly .Long story but hope this helps people with the same problem ,why the difference in price i can't tell you !!!

excellent write up ,and totally honest ,perhaps a good thing for a forum especially if you have a distance to travel.

you don't get the answer first Keith, wade through the 70,000 page handbook ,then , 2 weeks later , come back and admit defeat ,then you might get an answer !!
