I think my ls430 is really quiet, I think the tired sound louder as the rest of the car is that much quieter.

Mine have gone on my car which I think should be replaced soon. But I wish I could have just go a metal bar/stick like the good old days haha

Mine is just around 2k rpm at 70. Perfect for the car. Cruises along and very eco too!
