I have the exact same problem. I doubt if the amp it's an issue since the radio and AUX plays fine. This started out of the blue but the funny thing is only one of my mp3 disc plays fine but not originals nor other mp3s and DVDs. Please let me know if you get the solution.

Hi Guys, first time on forum. I'm experiencing lack of audio when playing either DVD or CD. All was good before, now the DVD/CD plays but no audio coming out of speakers. The radio and AUX plays fine. I'm not sure if the problem is related to AUX, I'm saying this because the problem started after trying to play music via AUX. The funny thing is, it plays only one of my writable discs not others nor originals, not sure why. Can one change the bit rate at which the ML plays disc, it plays at 48 khz.
