  1. The "Check VSC" warning is intended to indicate an engine failure, but engine failures rarely happen if you drive a Lexus. However, it does often occur that the "Check VSC" warning comes on, and this is mainly due to the fact that the engine runs most of the time at low revs, and can't heat up the system that ensures the combustion of the exhaust gas (it needs high temperature to obtain that). If you drive the car for about 20 minutes at a constant speed of +/- 70 mph and keep it into low gear (you should reach 3500 rpm), the next time you start up the engine, the warning (and limitation of the engine power) should disappear...
