It’s been a while since this was actually posted on here but I feel I should still reply as it may help somebody. I’ve owned a 2018 NX300h for the last four years. Around town I manage no more than 31MPG. We recently drove into southern France from the UK. The car had a full boot of stuff and four people and we did no more than 18MPG all the way. We run Michelin X climate 2 tyres all round. So if your intention is short journeys this car makes sense. For long trips and fast motorway driving, steer well clear unless you have deep pockets.

You won't be disappointed with Xclimates, you'll notice less road noise and the car feeling a bit more sure footed on the road
Yes. That is exactly what I did notice this evening when I went to the gym. The road noise is now minimised and the ride is now a lot smoother. I'm glad I made the switch rather than just sticking two new bluearths on the front.
It's a 2018 with 17,000 miles on now. I'll probably trade in between two and three years time, hopefully I'll have more fully electric choices by then.
It's a decent car, albeit engine rather underpowered. My young son likes looking out the pan roof from his seat.

Thanks all.
The Yokohamas 3mm on the front and 5mm on the back. Could have done a rotation and bought another pair of Yokohamas but then I would have been locked in to that for another few years.
Stuck 4 Michelin cross climates on it.

For clarity, it's a 2018 NX F-SPORT, sorry should have put that in the post...

Hi all,
At that time where I might need a new set of tyres to replace the stock Yokohama bluearths the NX300H came with. I don't want to get into changing them every winter and summer, little point in the UK with the mild winters. Given that, i'm looking for the quietest and pest performing tyre out there. Any recommendations?
Thanks all!

Hi all,
When I bought my 2018 NX it came with an aftermarket boot liner, it's similar to the Lexus one. I replaced all the mats and the boot liner with Lexus genuine ones. I'd be happy to give my old aftermarket boot liner away if anyone wants to come and pick it up from East Sussex?
Thanks

More comfortable to have in a pocket - this is the only reason I want to do it.

Hi all,
Hope you are all doing well.
If i buy this card key https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/GENUINE-LEXUS-SMART-KEYLESS-KEY-CARD-CT-IS-RX-ETC-DENSO-14CCF/254641819437?hash=item3b49d5cf2d:g:m8kAAOSwjPFe~ey5
Can I program it to work with a 2018 Lexus NX myself?
Kind Regards, Tom

Yes, if you do buy a car from Motorline i'd be more than happy to recommend the best people to talk to - PM me if interested.

That's a nice looking car, my wife wanted the sonic titanium.
I would have pushed the button on a sonic titanium from Tunbridge Wells Lexus (fantastic dealer) but it had the smaller nav, it was important to us to get the upgraded nav screen for car play.
Looks like it has everything apart from the larger nav screen

After complaining, I have just had my Takumi software patched for Apple car play/Android after some major navigation system problems.
Lexus have told me that to use the software I need to hardwire my phone to the USB port in the centre console for this to work.
Try doing that on the move and you'll not only be breaking the law but will probably end up in a heap on the side of the road.
So having spent £47000 on this car I now have a nav system that is equivalent to a cigarette lighter plug-in.
I have expressed my dissatisfaction to Lexus who are doing the ritual denial, and attempting to throw the problem over the wall to the dealer who sold me the car.
I have told Lexus that the vehicle is not as described, not of satisfactory quality, and not fit for purpose, and requested that I return the vehicle and my money refunded. Lexus state this is not a reason to return the vehicle. My solicitor thinks otherwise.
I would be grateful for any heads-up on other customers who have had similar experiences.
My phone is always on the wireless charger in the centre console, with the Car Play update it's still in the centre console, just with a wire attached - I don't understand how this changes anything

I just had my 2018 NX updated with apple Car Play & Android Auto last week. I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S20.
For whatever reason Waze was not showing with the other Android Auto Apps on the cars display. After a bit of hunting around I found this. Turns out enabling developer options in Android Auto fixes the issue.
Leaving this here so others with the same phone and car combo can get things working.

Speaking of speed camera warnings, is there any way to turn the volume of speed camera notifications up on the normal nav?

I had a 1996 V8, but sold it in 2011. I had a 1992 2.5 TT before that in green, but don't have any pictures of that to hand. Here are pictures of the 96 V8. Both cars were immaculate (at the time of ownership) with no modifications apart from the wheels and Supra 8 pots. I wish I had these cars in this condition today.

Nice one @Andy B and a great post by @NemesisUK
I have a Carista, so if the light comes on again i'll give this solution a go. How annoying to not be able to access the data on the dash! Makes diagnostics for anyone without these tools almost impossible.

I had the tyre pressure light come up on my dash today. I scrolled through all the menu options on the multi function display, but cannot find the pressure for each tyre. How do I access this to find out what tyre is causing the issue? -- They all look fine. I have inflated them all to 31PSI and reset the indicator in settings, so far so good.
The light was actually on in the photos the dealership sent me before i bought the car, it was off when I went to collect it - I do hope it is not a slow puncture.
Cheers.

I wonder if that is the kind of money @shanks269 had to pay to get his fixed?

That time of year is here, everything is wet and muddy.
I am looking for an official Lexus rubber mat set including the boot liner. If anyone has a set for sale please let me know. Other than that are there any cheaper options other than the dealer for a original set?
Thanks.

That is not good, thanks for the update - assume it's not covered under the warranty? Will the new unit have carplay?

Looks like it's quite an active topic ^^

On my NX the high beam is restored at 40MPH, this is too fast on country lanes where you are typically driving at 30 or below. I wonder if there is a way to change this?

Leaving this here to get updates
How many MPG are you getting with your NX 2018 year onwards?

Winter tyres not helping. Temperature is -3c and the car is fully loaded. Hybrid system not useful for long motorway trips at circa 80mph. It was a mixture of sport mode and normal. It’s great around town though.
