    Hi guys, I have an issue with my IS200 which I'm trying to get to the bottom of. You know when you start these cars up, the oil pressure light stays on briefly and it also makes a faint noise at the same time (like a knocking). Does anyone know exactly what this is? I've had 3 of these cars and they've all done it. Is it the oil pump building up pressure or something?

    Hello mate, I followed the progress of this build on the IS200 facebook group. I'm considering having it done some time after Christmas, but unsure if to sell up and get a newer manual as mine is an auto. I'm pretty impressed at how quickly he managed to get it done, especially as you had the full polybush kit etc done too!​ Sounds like he knows his stuff. Keep us updated, if any issues arise etc.

    Late reply but just been having another look and managed to find one of the previous owners. Username was 'Rogue' http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/gallery/member/11692-rogue/ Just gutted it's been stripped of the S/C and other rare bits he fitted to the car.​ ​

    Hi, what did you end up doing with regards to the sideskirt gasket/seal? Mine have perished so wanting to refit but cannot for the life of me find any replacements.

    Hi all, Just bought my second IS200 and sat going through the paperwork and found this gem amongst all the receipts... (see attached). Brilliant! Looks like it's had an interesting life and spent most of it's life in Scotland (Aberdeen area), just a shame the TTE supercharger is no longer on it! From what I can tell the previous owner was a Mr Todd and before that a Mr Linn (who also had private reg B** RML), so if anyone knows of them let me know. Car is a 2000 Grey IS200 SE Auto.

    Sorry to bring up an old thread but I found this after a search and ordered three, however they're too big. Does anyone know if these are definitely the right ones? Wondering if they've sent me wrong ones, but doesn't seem like it.

    I've just changed the coolant in my car, ran it on an incline with the rad cap off heaters on full etc, however the radiator fans still aren't coming on? I drove it round the block and left it running for a good 20-30 mins and the temp never went above half.. Any ideas? Should they 100% come on once it gets to half way? As that's what I've read in all the tutorials. Also I noticed yesterday after taking the centre console out to have a look at my radio that the passenger side vents don't blow hot air out, only cold. The drivers side is red hot.. could I have knocked something? Any help appreciated. Thanks

    Hi, thanks for the quick reply. Yes it does look like I need the whole kit, I can't see a way of fitting it properly without bodging it. If you have one that would be great, let me know :)

    Hi, I bought my IS a few weeks ago and one thing that's been bugging me is the badly fitted aftermarket radio. I've taken it apart and I'm confused as to how the single din cage actually is supposed to fit in? I thought it may be a case of the tabs hadn't been pushed back or something but there's nowhere for the tabs to be pushed into... I'm an absolute novice when it comes to stuff like this so any help appreciated. Wondering if there's any parts or anything missing?

    Hi guys.. I've just purchased an IS200 and the coolant needs topping up. Am I alright to just buy any 'red' coolant to top it up with? Or should I just use water? Also is it best to top up via rad cap or the black plastic one further down? Thanks.
