  1. Hi, I come from the Toyota forums and have heard alot about this. There are many topics regarding the Hybrid Pruis and people doing this. I have heared horror stories and would say do not do this. Hybrids are not made to do jump starting and doing so apparantly 'frys the electrics' and does something to the Hybrid battery which causes it to fail with all dahsboard lights comming on. You can check out the Toyota Owners club forum and you will find it in the Prius section.
  2. Thanks, I don't like tailgaters and I'm sure the next time they see me they will steer far far away :)
  3. Ha ha good point but the thing is that if they have a dash cam, they will be the one who will get done for tailgaiting. It is their responsibility to keep their distance and if lets say a cat runs infront of you with a idiot on your back, you will have to brake and when you do bam! Whos' fault is it? If you want to play safe then spray your jet washers and he'll soon back off.
  4. Very simple; Break hard and push accerator down to the floor (only if you have enough space infront). Always seems to work for me :) Also if they hit me, their problem so nothing to worry about :). If there is not enough space infront of me then I just go even slower, letting them smash the horn and flash lights at me. Once that is done and they still dont push back then it calls for emergency treatment. What I then do is spray my screen washer and it sprays the person behind me, i dont stop until Ive probally emptied half the tank full of water he he, they normally push back or get distracted. I love tailgaters!
  5. Hi guys im new round here, Im from the Toyota owners club. I currently have a 2011 Toyota Auris 1.3 petrol which is really boring. I am now currently looking at buying a reliable hybrid hatchback car and saw the CT200H. I wanted to ask if the car is reliable or not beause I will be purchasing a 2011 model which will be out of warranty now and im guesing it will have very expensive parts. If you guys could please give me honest opinions on the reliablity it would be great. I also wanted to know does it use the same exact engine as the Pruis?
