I think its the original CD, it reads the C.D fine, but the logo only comes on every now and again.

Does the GPS logo in the top left hand corner stay on all the time ? why does it change colour ?

Yeah I am getting family rates, hey my Dad does stereos, electronics and the the father inlaw ownes a spray shop and car garage a big one at that, so the car shouldnt take long to get sorted hopefully ! I went to lexus first and asked how much a spray job would be and they sent me a quote through the post and it was £4500 and that was for the same colour. I can ask how much a blow over would be for you guys let me find out.

Yeah I could paint it thicker, but its still not metalic which I have been advised is much better. even if I keep it the same colour, I still need to have the door shuts and so on painted.

Its currently Granite sky, but Ive always liked black and wanted black, just thinking BMW black would be better. Mind you I will probably change my mind between Granite sky and black at least another 2 or 3 times before its done !

My car is finally going in to have a re-spray and I am considering painting it black, however Im thinking about not using lexus paint as its not a metalic, Ive been advised by quite a few people to use a BMW black paint as it is a metalic. What do you guys think ?

Im sure Ive seen a chrome set on an IS, but they looked like the shadow chrome you can get, i.e not very bling or bright.

that price was for the standard, not the chrome they were more expensive, the only thing that worries me about lexus wheels is they dont put enough laquer on the wheel and therefore brake dust problems, like everyone has had with the standard wheels, meaning Ill have to get them re-furbished in 12 months time

Well I cant get wheels from RSR, any wheels for half the price but obviously they cant get lexus wheels. difficult decision coming soon.

I steam clean mine once a month, I just open the bonnet and point the water jet in the direction of the engine. Sometimes it resets the clock in the car sometimes it doesnt othe than that never had a problem.

Im thinking about sending in my car for a new sprayjob, I will keep it the same colour it is now, but just a blow over to make it look all pretty again. The main reason being Ive had the TTE kit fitted and its not a perfect match and I want to blend the skirts into the body. How much would I expect to pay ? can anyone recommend anywhere ?
