  1. Yes if it's straight up and down the lever should work if it's on its side the lever is isolated. I'm talking about the slot in the key barrel in the boot lid
  2. Hi all have you tried boot lock in the boot lid as you can isolate the internal release on th external hard lock normal operation lock slot will be vertical if isolated it will be horizontal just a thought

  4. Hi all sounds to me like vvti controller rattling.i have changed these when I worked at main dealers on is200 and gs300 v6 model.only the intake controllers need changing. You can change these without removing the front timing cover but it is an involved job though
  5. Hi George I think it's for a grease nipple to be fitted so you can grease the joint. I have only ever fitted genuine joints and they don't have provision for a nipple to be fitted(greased for life! !) I have seen them on other ball joints that I have fitted on other makes though. But I would have thought that joint would come pre greased so it should be ok
  6. Thanks Steve, I've tried to get onto the sponsorship tab, but it is not letting me submit my details. I've just opened up my own business after working for Lexus Sheffield main dealership for 20years and would like some more information with regard to advertising/sponsership

  8. Hi all have had this problem before sometimes removing the radio unit and unplugging it cures it but it could also be the amp at fault ( it's in the boot on the o/s under floor trim ) sometimes can get water inside etc. Hope this helps
