  1. not sure if it the torque or HP, but I had my IS300 in the wokrshop today to have wheel fixed and got a loner IS200... Loved the IS200 when I owned one, but I jumped in one today after a month in the IS300 and I couldn't belive the difference!! It felt like it had no power at all... speaking to the dealer toight he sadi he felt it was easy to get a new guy into a IS200, and a IS200 guy into a 300.. but would hate to try and do the reverse..
  2. Just went through the same delema... Have been living OS for the last 9 months without a car, spent all that time looking at new models etc and had made up my mind that a change was due upon my return to OZ. My IS200 was in the shop getting a major service done when I returned, so still not being able to drive convinced me a new "powerful" car was needed, found a nice low KM 540i with full Schnitzer kit and was ready to start talking dollars when I picked up my IS200... just could not see myself switching brands once I took my car for a drive again.. but what to do, needed to buy a new car ( just had too because I made my mind up) but didn't want to get rid of IS200 but wanted more power... 2 days later the 200 was gone replaced by gorgeous Pearl White IS300.. and wow.. took it for a little 4000km drive in it's first week ( the car had 20000km on it) and loved every minute of it, the power.. the comfort.. the lights.. the pop up washers whilst very gimmicky never cease to crack people up.. only thing I would say as a criticism is that it is not as "chuckable" as the IS200, but I am sure some suspension work will fix that.. still a great handling car though.. I say go for it!!
  3. Hi guys, not sure if we are differnet here ( Australia) but the one reason I got the IS was because of head room.. I am 6'8 and the IS is the only sporty I could get into.. I have monual seats on mine so I don't know if that is different.. luv the head room!!!
  4. They are doing a kit but it is a in-house kit, they quoted ruffly around the same costs you have mentioned previously around $8500, but it is the 4 weeks install time that could be my biggest problem!! need my car every day and having to get it to Melbourne and leave it there for 4 weeks is going to be tuff..
  5. Nice car.. have been talking to AVO about their turbo kit.. there are 2 other guys I know from Adelaide intrested in it... I put them on to it after looking at some of your previous posts.. hey if they all get them you should ask for commision!!!
  6. Hi, when the kit becomes available will you be able to offer it to O/S customers.. ie: will it be enough of a "kit" that I could get it fitted in Australia ??? or are your aware of any inductions kits that I could obtain in Australia.. new to the forum and trying to my IS200 to perform a bit more .. Cheers...
