  1. Hi Tigerfish I was going to post on Monday after finalising delivery details. Nothing wrong with them at all, but while I was on ebay, I spotted someone breaking a P Reg GS300 for spares and managed to get one for half that price. But I appreciate your help and everyone who posted to assist in getting this problem sorted for me. Many thanks and regards to you all.
  2. Man thanks Usman. I've sent the details to 1st Choice just in case they have anything. Regards.
  3. Thanks for the reply Tigerfish.

I've contacted one of those on ebay, fingers crossed.

    Kind regards.

  4. Thanks for replying Madfish. I've already got really low profile tyres fitted and I remember rubbing a few sleeping policemen with my exhaust last Winter! Lowering the ride height might be asking for trouble! ;-) Plus I would increase my already high labour charges! Thanks for suggestions though. Regards.
  5. Thanks for that information Steve. I'm trying Lexus Birmingham this morning, but Amayama may be an option for me to pursue. I'll let you know how it goes. Cheers.

  7. Good afternoon enthusiasts. I'm hoping someone can help me with this please. My Teesside dealership has just informed me that my GS300 needs a new n/s/f road spring to pass its MOT and Lexus no longer support a car of this age with parts! The part number given to me this afternoon is... L48131-30881 It couldn't have come at a worse time for me, as I've only just come out of hospital after having a replacement knee installed! Consequently, I'm unable to run around to any scrap yards, (unlikely source for this I would think), or even able to drive anywhere!! If anyone knows where I can possible get one asap I would be most grateful. Many thanks and look forward to hearing from anyone with suggestions or possible solutions.
  8. My apologies Steve, I finally found the fuse box exactly where you said it would be! Very small cover, only about 4" x 3" so I put down not being able to spot it, to a senior optical moment!! First fuse I removed was the culprit! Everything back in working order. Thanks again.
  9. Hi Steve Thanks for the rapid reply, but I've just looked and there's no fuse box under the dash on either side of the car.
  10. Hello everyone. New member since today. Thought this would be the best place to get an honest answer. Earlier this week I plugged an inverter into my cigar lighter to charge my laptop. All went well for an hour or so, but I wanted to check how far I had to go on the recharge, so I switched my laptop on. I unfortunately left my laptop plugged in to the inverter and blew a fuse. Simple I thought, replace fuse and continue, remembering NOT to switch it on again whilst still plugged in. Hmm. After replacing a 25amp fuse, nothing on my centre console is working! (That was the only fuse I found had blown.) No clock, heater/AC controls, radio or cigar lighter. What have I done? Is there another/bigger fuse I haven't found yet? I asked a workshop if it was a relay, they said unlikely and have suggested a 'couple of hours' in the workshop and they'll sort it! Couple of hours could be expensive!! Your thoughts, ideas and, hopefully, solutions would be much appreciated. Thanks and regards.
