  1. I never said I hate the sat nav, just that it is very different to the version on my CT200h, and I have already got used to it! My preference is to always show the map orientation North. Personally don't like navigation on 3D maps. Just driven 250 miles on B, A roads and M'ways and found the accurately absolutely fine. Still not heard speed cam warning when expected even where I have with the CT200h.
  2. Thanks Colin Putting it in Park and the system in Ready now allows access to the Vehicle settings menu. Speed limits for the maps still greyed out. Will listen for speed camera bleeps tomorrow.
  3. Just bought (less than 48 hours ago!) New NX300h Luxury 2018 which comes with Premium Navigation. Still finding my way around the nav system, I previously had a CT200h with Premium Nav which is very different. Some questions before I get back to Lexus. 1. I don't get any bleep warnings approaching speed cameras - can't see how to enable. The Camera Icons are visible on the map. 2. Is it possible to show speed limits on the map? On one of the settings its greyed out. Possibly because the car reads the real road signs and displays them on the centre console anyway, perhaps you can't have both? 3. Settings for the vehicle are greyed out - can't see how to enable. So far I love the car! Thanks for reading this.
  4. Thanks for coming back. I thought it might be possible to use it as a saved route and then get tailored traffic alerts it seems not. Regards ,
  5. CT200h 2016 UK version with Premium Navigation. What can you do with the result of a Route Trace other than rename it, delete or confirm the start and end points? Other than seeing the result on the map display what is its purpose? Can it be saved as a route to use again and therefore get tailored traffic information? If so how? Anyone managed to find a use for it?! Thanks
  6. Folks Using Android powered phone I notice in Settings/General/Google/Sign-in & Security/Recently used devices, amongst my other known connected kit (Windows, Samsung Galaxy etc) there is one called Q3. I'm beginning to think this might me linked to the Customer Portal which is currently down. Can anyone confirm this please? Thanks Dennis Issue solved - nothing to do with Lexus Customer Portal.
  7. Hi All I've been back to the main dealer and I can confirm Colin's reply. My car is 2016 (just in from Japan). There is no longer a bleep or flashing light to confirm Hill Start Assist is set - now fully automatic. It just works.
  8. Thanks for the answers. I'll give it a much harder push on the pedal and see what happens tomorrow and report back.
  9. Just changed from a Toyota Auris Excel hybrid that had Hill Start Assist which I liked a lot. When used, a beep and warning light on the dash to indicate it was set, lifting the foot off the brake after 2 seconds if the accelerator wasn't pressed a double bleep was issued. Now the proud owner of a new (2016) CT200h Luxury. The manuals (both paper and electronic) do say it comes with Hill Start assist. So far I'm not convinced it is fitted, as I don't get a visual or sound indication. The specification of all versions of the current CT200h have it fitted as standard. The sales person didn't think it was fitted. Anyone else got this model and can confirm either way. Not a big issue but would like to know either way. Thanks
