I don't see the RCF on that list and only post 2017 RCs.
-
On the official website it seems that you can still order a new RCF. I thought they were going to stop selling them?...

According to LV the brand with the biggest rise in theft is Lexus! Take extra security measures everyone.

Sadly it's true.. thread on the LC500 forum:

I think the wrap would deter most potential buyers. But £34k seems a good price since yours is a newer model and very low mileage compared to most RCFs on AT at the moment. What colour is under the wrap? I've noticed white cars seem to take longer to sell..
-
Is the mileage 200,000km or 200,000 miles?
I use to have a 2009 ISF on stock suspension and didn't think it was over firm.
-
Looks good in red. Hopefully you'll manage to do more miles in it than you do in your RCF!

@Cactus what have you read that has put you off? I've also been thinking about an evora if i move on from my RCF. All the reviews ive read/watched has been really positive, especially the ones from jayem and savagegesse.

They quoted me £1,294 for the service plan(1 full & 1 intermediate) but there seems to be no/minimal savings with this plan.
Their coffee was good though! 😂

which dealer as this?
Stockport. They didn't charge me for the courtesy car this time though!.. Last year they charged me around £15.
-
Just dropped off my RCF for a full service & MOT. Full service is now £770!
When did they increase the price?
Only did 3K miles in the past year so it's getting expensive for basically an annual oil change...

Just been advised by my local lexus dealer that I hold on to my 2015 RC-F. Realistically, would this even hold its value seeing as the RC-F is still available in the UK market?
Can you elaborate on why the dealer told you to hold on to your RCF?
According to howmanyleft.co.uk there were 222 RCFs registered and 11 SORN in 2022. So it wouldn't be a surprise if Lexus do decide to stop selling them in the UK. For 8 years worth of sales that is a really low amount of cars!

First a famine of GSF' now a feast with 7 on AT + 1 (the wrapped purple one in Stoke) is there something in the air 🤔?
Thats roughly 13% of GSF's! Could it be that most owners use their GSF as the main family car and now looking for something more wallet friendly in these tough financial climate?...

I think you'll get better results on Auto trader.

I agree, Lexus could really do with moving with the times and adding these ‘black pack’ options etc. I’m by no means fans of German cars but they do a good job of making their cars appeal to a broad audience by adding options that allow those inclined to de-chrome and tint, wheel colours and stuff.
There was a Black Edition for the RC300h so it's probably possible to order the black window surround and fit to the RCF.

Did you consider/look at the 4200GT or Gransport? Always been tempted by the Gransport but mpg in the teens and potential for big bills scare me...
-
Good choice on AT at the moment. There's even a wrapped mint green one!
-
Looks like it's been sold. Not on AT anymore. Surprised the grey one has not gone. Rare colour and good price(in current market) but I guess slightly high mileage for some.
-
If you buy them from autodoc/buycarparts make sure you paint them with some rust treatment before fitting. I had surface rust on mine shortly after fitting.

Thanks everyone for the advice. Looks like I will just have to put up with the stone chips for now but will consider a respray of the bumper followed by ppf.

Hi All,
I recently tried to touch up some stone chips on my bonnet and front bumper but it's made the affected areas more noticeable!
My car is Azure blue so it's a very tricky colour to match... So the question is, would sending it to a specialist for detailing and ceramic coating help to hide the existing stone chips or is ceramic coating just to protect the paint from further(small) stone chips?
A respray would be a bit drastic and worried about the colour match...

Alfa Guila QF is a good shout and I would be tempted.

Try Performance direct. My renewal cost last October was £200 more but after I called them they managed to get me a similar price to the previous year.
