Seems like prices of ISFs are dropping :( There are 2 on AT with FSH for around 14.5k. Last month I was thinking our cars might even start to appreciate in value soon due to the rarity and not having a direct replacement model...

The Lexus RC 200/300/RCF forum is even more quieter which is a surprise since the number of owners should be far more than the ISF..

I bought my car privately and called my local Lexus dealer a few weeks later. The 2 year warranty was bought and paid for over the phone after I provided some info about my car, so seems strange that they have refused to sell you one...

@MNMJ no it wasn't me, I have a silver one. I was interested in buying your old red IS-F at the main dealer in Manchester but was sold before I could go over to view it. Considering a RC-F for my next car end of next year so was just interested to know how your ownership has been compared to the IS-F.

Cools photos. How's life with the RFC? I recall you use to have a ISF..

ACE880, I also have extended warranty but they told me brakes are not covered... Issue seems to have been fixed at the 2nd attempt.

Hi Dave,
Yes, I can only hear it a low speeds. Took it to the dealer yesterday and they striped the rear driver side brake components again. The noise has gone, just hope it doesn't return!...

Hi Everyone,
After driving for a while/when brakes warm up there's a squealing and clicking/scraping noise when I apply the brakes at low speed until the car stops.
Main dealer has already had a look at it and stripped/cleaned front and rear brakes. There was no noise for the first 2 days but now the problem has returned...
I'm concerned about the clicking/scrapping noise which seems to be getting louder. Squealing noise is just annoying.. I'm taking the car back next week but any ideas what might be causing the problem?
Cheers,
Nean

Hi, what time was this? As it may have been me. Were you also in an ISF?
It was around 6pm at the roundabout next to B&Q. Not seen another ISF on the road :) I was returning my CT200h courtesy car.

I saw a black one today near Lexus Stockport. Was chatting to one of the sales guys there and he said they have sold a total of 3 RCF since launch!..

Are there any modifications that the police did which hasn't been removed/revert back to stock?

You could consider this one. Club members car with some nice mods.

I'd be interested too.:) The Bluewater meet is a bit further than I want to travel..

The guy I bought my ISF from was also a very nice guy and easy to deal with. Must be a common trait of owners! It'll be interesting to see what you move on to after an ISF. Give us an update when you decide.

Thanks Dave for the info! I'll be ordering some pads today.
There are a couple of things I'm undecided about...Opinions please.
1) The car has FLSH so I could buy a 2 year warranty from Lexus for peace of mind but what would you do in my situation?
2) Lexus does a service plan for cars over 5 years(1 major, 1 minor & 2 MOT's). Does it work out a lot cheaper than individual servicing with them?

I'll be a new owner in a few hours so it's great to hear that consumables are reasonably priced! Has anyone got Pagid pads fitted to their car and if so are they decent? Front pads are the first job I need to do?

Is this the Lexus Bristol '09 one?
Plenty of ISFs advertised now

Article on Pistonheads today suggesting the E90 M3 saloon as a possible "future classic" because of the V8 engine and rarity. Small mention of the ISF too.
