Had the air bag recall done at Lexus Croydon. Gave me an IS Hybrid for the time the car was being worked on. Cleaned car in and out and gave it a visual safety check.

Said it was in fantastic condition for the year. Reduced the price to 15500 but still no takers on auto trader. I will keep car if it doesnt sell privately. In a way i am hoping it doesnt sell!!!

Did you bother asking the dealer how much you would get for a trade in or are you not looking to get another Lexus? I was curious how much webuyanycar would offer for mine and surprisingly it was higher than I expected!

thanks for al the comments guys...much appreciate.

Lots of mixed messages so still confused.

Im not a mechanic so you'll have to bear with me but Charlie at Surrey RR said the measurement was taken at the crank, plus the RCF which performed the same test after me was pushing 460BHP so theres a huge difference even if the car is only a year old.

    How does the car drive/perform?

I am seriously considering an e92 m3 coupe with competition pack having decided the c63 is too heavy, gear box gets a lot of bad press for being slow and unpredictable and the rear tyres are too narrow to lay down the torque.

The 2013 model year seems to be a great car. I was wondering if anyone had driven one and compare it the rcf? Main attraction of the BMW for me is it's B road and track potential. Also the dct box seemed good.

Have you tried  a RCF?  I'm in a similar situation in terms of moving from a ISF...

I've driven the ISF, GSF and both LCs, all in the space of an hour. On public roads I really don't think the driving experience differs vastly.

Yes, a day in each on some quiet Welsh roads may well be more telling, but even then, I doubt the difference between any of these cars would be that great.

I really did consider switching to an RCF, but apart from the updated interior and functionality, the RCF doesn't offer a big enough reason to switch. When I can't slap a warranty on the ISF, it may well be a different story.

For me the exterior looks stunning. I was at Lexus Stockport today and although they only had the Hybrid versions there they still look really nice and modern(inside & out).

Out of the 3 colours(blue, red & metallic grey) I think the grey looked the best.  Even parked next to the LC500h it still looked good.
