Had the air bag recall done at Lexus Croydon. Gave me an IS Hybrid for the time the car was being worked on. Cleaned car in and out and gave it a visual safety check.
Said it was in fantastic condition for the year. Reduced the price to 15500 but still no takers on auto trader. I will keep car if it doesnt sell privately. In a way i am hoping it doesnt sell!!!
Did you bother asking the dealer how much you would get for a trade in or are you not looking to get another Lexus? I was curious how much webuyanycar would offer for mine and surprisingly it was higher than I expected!

@Bluethunder Nean do you mean the grey? If so yes it really suits the car, the wheels from some angles look good but they don’t seem to be particularly popular.

Yes, there was one in that colour for sale a few months ago. I was very tempted but I was too late..

That's my favourite colour for the RCF. Don't like those wheels though...

I always get a CT200h. It's a decent car but I get no joy/fun from driving it and always look forward to returning it!..

thanks for al the comments guys...much appreciate.
Lots of mixed messages so still confused.
Im not a mechanic so you'll have to bear with me but Charlie at Surrey RR said the measurement was taken at the crank, plus the RCF which performed the same test after me was pushing 460BHP so theres a huge difference even if the car is only a year old.
How does the car drive/perform?

Just collected my car after the recall work. Excellent service from Lexus Stockport, they even put in £25 of free petrol for me!

Used my warranty for the first time today. The Sat Nav stopped working and I've been told that a new hard disk is needed..
Does anyone know how much this would cost if outside warranty?

Hi Jon, I'm in a similar situation to you but will wait a couple of months.. The Blue one in Coventry looks really nice with the blacked out chrome trim. Is it wrapped or painted?
-
I've just had Good Year Eagle F1 A3 fitted to the back and it's noticeable quieter. Not had time to test them out properly yet..
National tyres are doing a good deal for the Bridgestones at the moment.

When you are looking at cars around the 35K ball park, the choice is is mind-boggling... I'm struggling to decide. Stoke Lexus(closest dealer with RCF) has 3 for sale so i guess I need to go down for a test drive..

I am seriously considering an e92 m3 coupe with competition pack having decided the c63 is too heavy, gear box gets a lot of bad press for being slow and unpredictable and the rear tyres are too narrow to lay down the torque.
The 2013 model year seems to be a great car. I was wondering if anyone had driven one and compare it the rcf? Main attraction of the BMW for me is it's B road and track potential. Also the dct box seemed good.
Stu
Have you tried a RCF? I'm in a similar situation in terms of moving from a ISF...

Mine stays on occasionally. Strange as it sounds but it usually happens when I don't pull the door handle to open the door firm enough!
-
The blue does look really nice!
@NemesisUK you previously had a CLS55 so I was wondering if you ever miss the power or regret not going for a RCF?
-
@Stuno1 I'm sure the 2012-2015 C63 has less bhp than the RCF so are you sure about the 3.6 sec 0-60 time?...
-
Wow certainly livens up the interior! Can't be many ISF's with a red interior...
-
Is that Mercury grey with red interior? Looks great and very unique.

I've driven the ISF, GSF and both LCs, all in the space of an hour. On public roads I really don't think the driving experience differs vastly.
Yes, a day in each on some quiet Welsh roads may well be more telling, but even then, I doubt the difference between any of these cars would be that great.
I really did consider switching to an RCF, but apart from the updated interior and functionality, the RCF doesn't offer a big enough reason to switch. When I can't slap a warranty on the ISF, it may well be a different story.
For me the exterior looks stunning. I was at Lexus Stockport today and although they only had the Hybrid versions there they still look really nice and modern(inside & out).
Out of the 3 colours(blue, red & metallic grey) I think the grey looked the best. Even parked next to the LC500h it still looked good.

Dave, I had mine replaced when i had my service at Lexus and they charged me £64.

Sorry, can't help you with the mirrorlink but was interested to know if you tested the RC 200T(or maybe even the RCF) and what were your thoughts?.
-
That's amazing if it's not a typo!

For those living in the north west, Lexus Stockport will be having their launch event 29-30 JULY.

Has anyone experienced any issues with brembo disc bought from ECP after fitting? I've got a set that I bought that I've not fitted yet...
