There are issues around seat clicking and movement / rocking. Not limited to the LC, but across the Toyota range. Very expensive to fix.

I quite like the rear wing
But I vowed never to have a black car again
Looks lovely when washed but 2 days later aarg
I have a Valeter come around once a month and the red just about hides the dirt enough to last that long
As long as we don’t get a sand black coming up from Africa lol
Yeh, you're right about black!

Stoked for you and the fact you like it 👍. I’m just not a fan of static wings on any GT. I guess the world would be boring if we all had the same opinions.

As long as he’s ok, will definitely sort out a catch up, be good to get together again 👍🏻
He's fine. Wasn't his fault. Someone travelling in opposite direction lost control. Dave was just a passenger - nothing he could do. Made a mess of the M4 however.

Would be good to catch up, I drove back from Spain last Saturday/Sunday and back to work Monday, two airport runs last night with family, 4 hours sleep BUT determined to go tomorrow, if u can …… GREAT……. If not then maybe sort out a Ratty n Dave meet up, been way to long, hopefully see u tomorrow BUT understand if u can’t, take care mate n hopefully see u soon
Would be lovely to catch up. Ratty - I talk to him from time to time - he's all good. Dave is recovering from a head on in his M4 (totalled) - don't think he'll look at a performance car again.

She's a beaut. These Lexus 'kiddies' don't know what they are missing!
Be nice to catch up Paul. Not sure outside of you how many of the original F people are still members....? I was toying with the idea, but, I've been away from home all week and was touring Wales last week - so..... dunno........ There's the washing to do, got to mow the lawns, do some decorating, paperwork, etc etc. Decisons decisions......

One more bump - be good if more than one LC could make it 🙂
Surely you'll be the star of the show then? 😃

Thanks for all of the thoughts opinions some really valid points aswell as some very shallow ones 🙂.. to be quite honest as hybrid owner of this model I personally was not overly worried about mpg but saw it as a bonus.. but more importantly I was intrigued by the sophistication of the technology and how the powertrain comes together as a daily vehicle. When I'm driving the car in different circumstances I find it fascinating how the hybrid has so many different personalities between the 4 speed box, the assistance of the motor at low speeds as well as flat out... I really think the powertrain is highly underrated /underappreciated until you live with it.
Just so our v8 audience dont feel left out Yes v8 sounds awesome and has the je ne sais quoi that mass petrol head market is looking for and would still love to experience one as a daily ... maybe one day 🙂
Well written 👍
As I said, each to their own.
You drive a beautiful car that you love. Winner! 👍

I own a LC500 and love it, especially the sound when I accelerate. I question the sound in a LC500h. If it is an everyday car and mileage is important I can understand why someone would favor the hybrid however if it is not an everyday care as most are and or mileage is not important there is no comparison.
Totally agree. Driven both back to back. The V8, I see as a Japanese Aston Martin. Something special. The hybrid…… if I was worried about economy, I would look elsewhere.
Real world, I’m told the V8 can be very frugal! How much better is the hybrid?
Having said all that, each to their own 👍

Anyone on here?

If you’re getting the raw from the Nissan and not trying to get that from the LC, then that could work 👍

Hi all.
Looking to jump from an Porsche 993 to a lc500. Are there many owners here? Any cab owners?
Do we have anyone looking to sell?
Interesting. 993 to an LC500. Very different animals. Have you driven an LC?
-
I don't know much about the LC500, but I've seen lots of after market exhausts fitted to IS-Fs & RC-Fs. They all have a tendancy to drone. I'd be careful what you change!

If it's a write off, don't insurance companies offer you the chance to buy it off them for peanuts?

LC Seat Movement
in Lexus LC500 Coupe Club
Posted
I've PM'd Ben.
Yes, I had this issue. Seat rocks forwards and backwards. Absolutely horrible feeling when pulling off and coming to a stop. I've seen at least 5 owners report this as an issue. I believe it's a fault with not just the LC, but other Toyota products as well.
Having sat in a brand new LC, knowing what I was looking for, I could reporoduce the rocking. Only minor, but no doubts, the fault was present.
Remedy - a new seat base from Japan. Not cheap! Lexus must know.
