  1. Hi all Looking for a set of the 5 spoke split allot wheels fitted to CT F Sports. 7J x 17" in silver. Hate the standard 17" rims on my Premier so fancy a change, If anyone has a decent set please get in touch. Many thanks Zahid
  2. Hi folks Will try the clear helicopter tape. Hope it works, it's very infuriating! Keep you posted. Z
  3. Evening folks Having had the CT200 now for over a month I am really enjoying the car and especially the wait for it......fuel savings!! I cannot believe just how much the C-Class used to burn on the same journey and regular use. So, all is good, apart from.......the front doors. Now I don't know if its because the car sits low but more likely the car seems to have very tall doors. I have, on one occasion opened the drivers door and crack, right along the pavement. Careful not to do it again but the same can't be said for passengers and you don't always get there in time to tell them. I'm sure others have experienced the same thing so was wondering if anyone has fitted some sort of guards along the bottom rear edge of the front doors? They flare out slightly so that can also be the problem. I'm hoping there is something on the market but after some searches on the net can't find anything. Cheers Zahid
  4. Dear all Thanks for your warm welcome messages and apologies for the late reply. Had my first proper drive in the car yesterday, a round trip of 80 odd miles. Surprising that filling the tank only cost me about £40, small tank I take it? Averaged about 59mpg but I know these figures are not always accurate. I suppose just willing myself to believe the car can achieve this after spending the money! Which average mpg figure is the more accurate one by the way? Is it the one with the white bar with the figure next to it or the single display average as both figures were different. I guess the one with the white bar is dependant on how much pedal is being used similar to the old BMW's but the figure didn't alter much? Geoff, liking the colour indeed however will think about covering the seats as can imagine them getting dirty quickly. Hate car seat covers but want to keep them as clean as possible. I didn't get a spare wheel with mine. Mike, thank you and will do my best to behave! Have been a member in various forums including Porsche, Saab, Mercedes and Ford but not as active on them as I used to be. I will take your advice Paul and look at deflating the tyres a little, thanks for that. Lovely car by the way. Look forward to chatting more and getting to know the car more too. Have a great day. Zahid
  5. Hi! New Lexus owner here. Bought a 2011 CT200H Premier from Lexus Woodford so looking forward to seeing how the car performs over the next few years. Traded in my 2005 C-Class as it was costing me way too much on fuel. Didn't want to get another as Mercs seem to be very overpriced. Love BMW's but the only sensible option was a diesel but for the driving we do it's of no benefit so the only thing that ticked the boxes was a hybrid. Barely got 200 miles out of a full tank in the C-Class! Liking the car so far, only driven it once mind back home from the dealer. My wife has been running around in it but she's enjoying it so far. Very strange driving a hybrid but I'm sure we'll get used to it very soon. Loving all the gizmos in the car including the Mark Levinson system. Ride is a bit harsh so quite surprised by that and also the lack of seat height adjustment on the passenger seat, what were they thinking! Prefer proper drivers cars as I like to chuck a car around the corners, no boy racer mind you. My other car is a Porsche, literally, a 944 turbo which is my weekend toy. So the Lexus is a complete change for me but will seriously consider sticking with the brand, next car IS300 F??!! Anyway hope to catch up with you all soon. No doubt I'll have some questions about the car! Cheers for now. Zahid
