So cool 😎
I remember VBH test driving one, I think it was on top gear, she loved it.

This is my first Japanese car, my only other experience of them was an 'x' from some years ago had a Mitsubishi Shogun EVO, the relationship I had with that thing was a lot more interesting that it's owner, it had done something like 190k but really was a good un.
Always fastidiously maintained by an indie in Bristol I do not recall it ever being a problem always got positive comments from those who actually know what they are, wonder were it is now 🤔
Big Rat
Always had a thing for these but never been in one, what was it like?

Changing the intake is dead easy. Getting the factory clips off the radiator hose was more tricky, especially if you've spilt antifreeze all over your hands 🙈

Mine was professionally inspected at 97k and there were no mechanical issues at all. I've always bought Japanese cars due to the quality of the engineering but lexus take it to a new level!

Ha, all mods declared, honest!
I've been asked to test a prototype telematics unit, better hope none of the underwriters see the results 😨

The orange clashes with my hair sorry. A grey GSF would suit me just fine although it's probably too big for my garage 😔.
I'm still struggling with the crome window trim on both the gs and rc, it doesn't match the wheels and doesn't suit the lighter body colours at all. Suppose you could get it covered up 🤔

Can't wraps increase insurance premiums?
You'd have to declare it and I'm sure most would charge a premium. It doesn't increase performance though so shouldn't be too bad.

A wrap is a good idea, covers up and marks on the paint and protect from getting any new ones. Quite tempted by a racing green wrap myself 🤔

Hmm, I do like the fitment, the F does need fatter wheels than the factory ones imo but the spokes are too skinny.

@Flytvr I was going to do the Aberystwyth mountain road but ran out of time, tell me what I missed 😢

It's way to classy for the likes of you lot, I'm not sure they sell guiness anyway 😁.
Maybe April time when the weather might be better?

Sounds like a future LOC meet to me... 😃

Thanks guys, good advice. I've just fitted new brakes including yellow stuff pads so they should be fine but the noise limitsubishi is 103db so that could be an issue!

A few mates are going to cadwell park next month and invited me along. There are instructors there which I would definitely take advantage of but does anyone have any tips for a novice?

I think there is an inch of dirt on them, that's why they look bigger!

The Rusty and the Trusty Rusty wife providing the IS-F massive with a pictorial pleasure of the Welsh outback 😏
But Russ thought it was but much in the above post you revealing how you have been throwing your wife around to us all I know these weekends away can involve such malarkey but for the sensitive ears and ageing ticker of this poor old builder.......😂😂😂
Why did I know you would pick up on that! One track mind, and I don't mean guiness or silver cars 😀

Got to admit rusty roads are amazing. Always holiday down in Tenby , the drive from Newtown to Tenby I always looked forward to . Before my isf times tho . Would love to try it in the isf
Overtaking is easy in the isf, helps with traffic 😎. Luckily my wife is fearless!

No it wouldn't!

Day two: Nice easy route home, we got on the A483 close to the hotel and followed it all the way until joined the a470, which eventually goes past my house. It was definitely not boring though, the A483 around Llandrindod wells is probably the best road I've ever driven. Well sighted, open, good mix of straights and corners and very fast!
I promised Mrs Crobar I'd keep the speed down a bit after flinging her around so much the previous day but i was still going pretty quick even short shifting and avoiding the 2nd intake zone 😊.
Day one took about 4 hours including 2 pit stops and getting lost, the trip back about 2 hours. Got through about £50 of 99ron averaging 18mpg.
