And don't forget that having a Hunter system alone doesn't guarantee it will be correct. Very much down to the knowledge and competence of the operator.
A place local to me recently had an extremely impressive Hunter system installed but totally failed to set up my bone stock LS.

Stuck in the house with Covid at the mo. I'm saving these for when I'm at my lowest ebb
(That may be around 2pm today)

Great cars! Thoroughly enjoyed mine

Thanks! It is indeed Sonic Shadow.

It's not just the LS Malc. I turned away from new cars a few years ago and since owning various 15 to 25 year old Saabs, Hondas, Toyotas and Lexus I certainly recognise what you're describing. I drive mainly in 30-40mph areas but the number of drivers that just have to get in front of me is quite noticeable. Something I don't see when I'm driving our recently acquired new Subaru.
That said, I think the current standard of driving and behaviour is appalling anyway.

Well, until I got in and realised that my size 10 feet in their Doc Martens shoes made driving the thing impossible. It was a very sad day. We split up shortly afterwards.
Well you know what they say about big feet...

Sideways it's not dissimilar to a Honda NSX?
Much faster too

Had the hateful touchscreen thing (which I've since found out is quite well regarded) taken out today and my period JDM Alpine MD/CD unit put in. Bluetooth is overrated

Looks really clean and straight for a 22 year old car 👍
It's been pampered all its life. Not a spot of the usual rear end rust and only 54k miles. Reams of sometimes quite unnecessary history.
Having to get used to using my left leg again!

Pop ups are so cool. Everyone gets let out of junctions when I'm driving this

Looks nice. Flowing lines. Almost Italian design. The first MR2 was very sharp edged from all sides.
Thank you. The baby Ferrari comparison was made fairly often at the time I believe.

New EBC pads on the LS. Hopefully better than the squeaky Lexus ones I took off.

I once attempted a stitch on cover on the GS. Got about 1cm before giving it up as an appalling job.

Goodness me, you've been busy! Very impressed with the stitching.

That video is the definition of vulgar with all of those eye sores like something out of need for speed! Lol🤣
Makes me miss my GS300
And I notice that they all manage to leave without stuffing themselves into a hedge, pedestrian or kerb. Can't really be said for UK shows!

The opening "act" at Cosford was one of the RAF's Typhoons. The announcer said that the show was about to start and the Typhoon was just leaving Lincolnshire. It came roaring over the airfield fast and low probably no more than 5 minutes later!

.... and do you know what? It wasn't nearly as heart-racingly impressive as seeing a Lancaster!
I was in my local B&Q a couple of years ago and noticed the drone of a plane approaching overhead. Suddenly I thought "That's a Lancaster" and rushed outside. The sound of those four Merlins is so distinctive.
This pic is from the last show at RAF Cosford in (I think) 2019.

Love gold badges on a Lexus and imo they suit any MK1 IS, MK1/2 GS or LS400. Oddly that was not my view when the models were current.
Specifically for the LS400, local dealers offered the optional gold pack priced between £800 and £1000. This included all the rear badges, front grille emblem, wheel centre cap emblems and the fixing ring and cap on the electric aerial. It is 24 carat gold plate.
My LS came with the gold pack but all were tarnished or faded. Some were salvageable but for one or two I bought silver eBay replacements and then tracked down the local plater who used to do it for Lexus Sheffield. He had a look and said he'd charge me what he used to charge Lexus..... (gulp!)...... 80 quid

These cars are pretty rare over here now. Have you tried over on the US IS forums such as Club Lexus?
-
Is this a light that indicates P, R, D etc next to the gear lever? I'm almost certain I've never seen that illuminated on my IS300. I'll have to check.

Very good news.

Does this happen in more than one location? Sometimes radio interference can stop the remotes working. If you haven't already try driving somewhere else and then test the remotes. Had this with my '02 IS and '06 RX.
