  1. I think v-power is only for high performance cars. However there's a couple of lads on the other forum who have ISF and GSF who just use normal standard shell or BP. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I've only ever driven 2 cars. Both 250's brilliant cars. Wouldn't consider any other make. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I've only just seen this now. I'm glad you got sorted. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I got mine serviced last Saturday including plugs. I'm at 52k. It's a pain in the arse trying to get the 3 plugs out on passenger side. The inlet manifold had to come off. Millions of nuts and bolts too. A bit long winded the mechanic said. Well worth it though. I don't know much about cars as I've never driven anything else. I couldn't drive anything else. My next one will be a GS450h F-sport. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I've tried shell v-power. I couldn't tell the difference to be honest. I suppose everyone has there own preferences. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Mines an 11 plate too. I've just had service done and plugs done. It's running brilliant. It was beforehand. What do you make of the car overall. I've only ever driven 2 cars. Both 250's. I've had it for 18 months. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  11. I've just had mine serviced plus spark plugs. It's running beautifully at the moment. It only has 52k on the clock. Bought all the genuine lexus bits for service myself plus the oil from lexus liverpool. The oil was on offer for £17.99 fully synthetic 5W 30. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I use the fuel from Costco which is supposed to be as good as any major brand and better than the supermarket stuff. I've tried v-power and noticed no difference at all compared to the Costco stuff. How many miles is on your 250. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. The car only has 52k on the clock. So I'm thinking its not really worry it at the moment. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Did you notice any gains, smoother acceleration etc. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Have you ever used any additives in yours. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Hi everyone, I'm thinking of adding a fuel additive to my IS 250 auto. Do these actually work. If so what's a good one to use if want to use it to clean carbons from the engine as the 250 apparently suffers from cabin build up. Thanks in advance for any help. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. That makes sense. Thanks for you help anyway. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. It started off at 16 when o I get the back. Now it's just under 19. So I'll see what happens. Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. I got the car back on Saturday morning checked average mpg on Monday night and it said 16 mpg. Now it's at 18.9. Will it return to its original average the more I use the car. Thanks again. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Hi everyone, I've just had service done on my 250 including plugs. I've just noticed mpg is saying 18.9 instead of the usual 22-24. Is this normal and will it go back to the way it was. I think the 12v battery had to come out to get the plugs in on the passenger side. Thanks in advance everyone. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. The service was done by an independent garage by me. I supplied all the genuine air, pollen, oil filter plus 5 litres of 5W 30 oil should be 7 so he supplied 2, also I supplied spark plugs. He also painted the faces of all 4 calipers with the proper heat resistant paint. £100 labour. This fella's an old school genius. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Air bag recall done Friday. Health check came back on the car whilst there with everything 100% good except on tyre tread a bit low. Also full service including spark plugs done, plus new battery. The slight rattle by the glove compartment has also dissappeard since air bag recall. The cars running like a dream. Well happy [emoji1362] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Thanks for your help. Hopefully then the ones I have should be good to use. I'm also replacing gaskets when the plugs are being done. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. When it says different size, does that mean the thread or the length of the plug. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
