Thanks guy's , I think the moral of the story is leave well alone, maybe look for some 19' s from an IS-F but as you say the calipers are a bit on the small side , I think i can live without DLR's unless I find a breaker with both fronts and loom intact, but that's going to be as rare as rocking horse manure. he-ho just a thought

Hi Guy's How can i identify which gen of system I have, as i have registered on my Lexus and it's asking so as to be able to download and update maps. I'm a bit skeptical of that1 it's an 09 SE-I colour screen 7" with picture icons. i've tried the procedure on the Lexus site but can't seem to get it to work. I'd be grateful of ant help please.

Thanks Keith, Yes your right , I have been driving a Merc CLK AMG, so am pretty much used to a roller skate ride, but I think maybe 18's are a better option. And wow how many plastic clips! and bumper off under tray out I'm to old for all that and a gamy hip and knee to boot! Still getting to grips with the car and I cant seem to get the mirrors to auto fold on start or lock, the fold button works OK. is this a dealer code option?

Sorry guys, Aged P in hospital the day i pick up the car, I changed brand because I needed 4 doors, a car that is not so low that my hip lets me in and out without wincing and a bit of poke still and wanted quality build and petrol;and i don't like the C class design, er-indoors did'nt want my to go back to an E class as just the two of us most of the time. grandchildren's car seats award in a clk. build quality smooth ride quiet so very quiet i have to keep checking the tac to see if the engine is on! The colour is I think Sable but the log book says grey? it's defo not grey, ivory leather SE-I spec colour sat nav PDC staggered alloys. opps messed that up

Only had my car four days and like Tony the same whisper quiet on the test drive but the last few days varying road surfaces tyre noise, but that's all i have to keep checking the tac to see its still running. I'm running hankook evo v2, had them on my jag X and Mercedes Clk AMG , but looking to change by the looks of it Uniroyal rainsport 3 seem to be the recommendation. so will give them a go here's hoping.

Some help please, I can't open the car using the door handle lever when locked car stopped in neutral or P , currently I have to use the unlock button on either the drive or passenger door. I,ve sat in the car and pressed the open and lock button for the beep to open all doors from out side but cannot solve inside?
