  1. I'd get the TTE chip tuning. Would make the diesel a fastest IS in europe. http://www.auto.de/Tuning/Tuning/TTE_IS_22...te_Alternative/ After chip tuning: 0-60 in 7,5 sec 220Hp cost: 1150.- Euros.
  2. Couldn't get this to work. well now that the wheather has warmen up - I had a go on the seatbelt beep removal. and yes You are right - it doesnt work. However I tried it vice-a-versa - the seatbelt was buckled when started the car and while holding the ODO button I unbuckled it - and voila - the "b on" appeared on "ODO screen". so I pressed the odo button (to show "b Off", then pressed the Start button to "exit") and can now confirm, that by doing it so - the seatbelt beebs are history.
  3. did you know.. You can turn off all electronic nanny-s (except ABS) and hit the track hard by doing the following: 1. Make sure the car is in Park and the parking brake is disengaged before you start the car. 2. Start the engine. 3. Engage the parking brake. 4. Fully depress the brake pedal and then release. 5. Fully depress the brake pedal and then release. 6. Disengage the parking brake. 7. Fully depress and hold down the brake pedal. 8. Engage the parking brake, then disengage it (while holding down the brake pedal). 9. Engage the parking brake, then disengage it (while holding down the brake pedal). 10. Release the brake pedal. 11. Engage the parking brake. 12. Fully depress the brake pedal and then release. 13. Fully depress the brake pedal and then release. skid light on dash comes on and all nanny-s are disabled It will go back to original every time you turn the car off. You have 30 seconds to do this once you turned the car on.
  4. I have not tried this myself, but this should get rid of the seatbelt blings: 1. turn the key to the ON position (press Start 2 times), foot off the brake 2. cycle the odometer with the trip reset button until the ODO is displayed (not trip A or B ) 3. turn the ignition to the LOCK (OFF) position 4. unbuckle the driver's seatbelt if it was buckled. 5. turn the key to the ON position (Press Start 2 times). when the dash lights have come on, press and hold the trip reset button and count a slow 12 seconds. (editor's note, hold it more like 30 sec) 6. while still holding the trip reset button, buckle the driver's side seatbelt. 7. the odometer display should read "b ON" or "b OFF". toggle the beep OFF with the trip reset. 8. the process should be completed when you unbuckle or turn the key off.
  5. My guess is, that the pic comes from IS250 with manual gearbox - that would also be my personal pick of the outcoming modifications. But that's not what I saw in the picture. The real surprise for me is that there's a REAL (old school) handbrake - no button, no leg-push handbrake - but a proper "tilt it up" handbrake - and I LOVE IT (people drivin in winter time now why B) )
  6. hmm, well - I have to say, that I personally like to drive in the snow. Although my 225/45/17 wheels are considered to be bad on snow (too wide) I like them - why You ask? I get lot of oversteering ;-) And that's FUN. Sliding along the road across town, slightly oversteering and powersliding it through the junctions, other drivers saing "damn - that guy is crazy" - now thats an enjoyable ride. and oh yeah - chicks also dig it. And because in Estonia we have snow for 3-4 months in winter - I can snow-slide the IS quite a lot. :-)
  7. OK, sry it took so long - but here they are - the pics with my new alloys - 17" Alessio Turbos :P Ok - lets be honest - 18" would have been perfect and with 30mm drop it would look unbeliavable B) But considering the fact that in my country - we have high prices and low salaries - then not bad - not bad at all. Photo One Photo Two Photo Three
  8. Well sry guys - have to dissapoint ya - got the 17" But simply, because they were on a sale - I got them 127£ a piece :winky: Look quite nice - although 18" would been perfect. Did some pics also - and will have them online as soon as I get them into my PC greets.
  9. Hi guys I'm currently looking new wheels for my IS200 and considering getting Alessio Turbo wheels - 17 or 18 (don't now jet). Alessio Turbo pic Does anyone have these on? If so - Pics would be really nice, because hard to tell if they'll look good when fitted on. So comments and PICS please (if possible).
