  1. Many thanks I’m on auto trader PistonHeads and Lexus approved daily
  2. You see I basically want yours haha but literally nothing out there at the moment the carbon red one on autrotrader has too many owners and mileage for my liking
  3. Hi Jonathon yes, just fancy a louder colour my xkr was black and my z4m was blue budget is 35k but closer to 30k would be better best wishes Simran

  5. Good evening just seeing if anyone is interested in selling their rcf looking at least late 2015 less than 30k miles tvd would be nice genuine buyer no finance required colours anything but black white or grey many thanks
  6. Oh ok thank you. I test drove an rcf last week it was a later 2018 500 but I was smitten. I am just sitting and biding my time although still going to test drive an Alfa too
  7. Sorry I am new to this website ... did someone on here own this car ?
  8. Ah interesting stuff . Mileage is a little high for me so I’m going to sit tight and wait 🙂
  9. could I have a look at the inspection report ? It would be really interesting
  10. I have a feeling Lexus Leicester bought it and are just prepping it for sale, it must be the same one I test drive a 2018 black one and am smitten so I am looking for one but it looks like it is strong money https://usedcars.lexus.co.uk/en/used-lexus/Lexus/Rc-F-Coupe/500-50-Carbon-with-Adaptive-Cruise-Control-jjb68zw
  11. Just an update still no blue ones 😞 drove an m6 gc as another alternative and an amazing car but feels very large and I don’t need that much space. Dealer almost lost it in the wet “taking it out of the lanes” guess that is what you get with a spiky power delivery booked for Wednesday to test drive the closest rcf to me , there has been a lot of anticipation now I cannot wait
  12. Yes I think if I was to go for the quad (have to rearrange to view on Sunday) then I will get an independent inspection anyway from a guy who has saved my friends and I potentially thousands ... eg a clocked c63 and a panamera turbo that despite being dealer approved had had faults deleted off the ecu 12 miles earlier Lexus I may just do the same for peace of mind and with a private buy I would do it without a doubt
  13. My budget is basically fleixible dependent on the car eg a different budget for an rcf or m4 vs an s63 or rapide The rapide, I don’t know if this one was particularly tired example but it rattled over bumps, some of the switches reminded me of an L Reg Clio I used to drive as a teenager and genuinely drove and handled worse than my xkr. No way a 44k car. It had the same zf gearbox as the jag too but it wasn’t configured the same, it was slower on the shifts. Oh well never mind that’s definitely one off the list friday I am going to see an rcf and a Quadrifoglio now this will be interesting
  14. I think having experienced m car tax before as well as Porsche tax with a 944 it does sound reasonable hopefully going to see one in Sussex on Thursday 🙂 hopefully lives up to the hype but I understand it is a grower i test drive an Aston Martin rapide and I must admit barring the sound and looks I was distinctly underwhelmed
  15. That’s very reasonable. I guess a supersprint exhaust is worth adding ? I would be looking at a 2016 car around the 30k mark so I guess those optional extras would not be applicable to me just the carbon pack which I know is a long shot
  16. Out of interest how much are the discs and pads ? I remember paying 500 for my rear pads only on xkr pads and discs I think 2k
  17. Thank you everyone for a reply While it is not my first choice I am going to have a look at the closest trade one on sale to me which is near Horsham in Surrey. It is a 2018 but above what I spend on this particular car but the closest to me. Are there any must have options? I do like the carbon pack but I fear I will not find one in blue with pack and the mileage I want. I have been scanning auto trader for about 4 months and have not seen a single one. What are the annual non petrol related costs? I budgeted 1-2k a year for my jaguar and it was well under that. How much do you pay for a main dealer service? While I used jaguar specialists before, the performance sub group in Lexus specialists would be lower so I would go main dealer and Lexus sidcup is very close to me. Re: NA my 130i is a 3.0 straight six NA so I am used to the slightly gutless start but I do enjoy burbling along. I prefer a split personality car hence having an XKR before. Prior to that I had a Z4M and that was rabid all of the time and it got a little tiring.
  18. Hi Jonathon Thanks for your reply. What made you swap from the f type r ? I have been looking at one of those too. The obvious choice is an m4 competition but it is quite common and I already have a e87 130i LE as a daily driver and I think two BMW’s would be overkill I am based in Kent and unfortunately even to test drive an rcf, well there is nothing close to me within 40 miles
  19. Good evening I am new to the forum. I have just sold my 2009 jaguar xkr 5.0 and I am looking now at an rcf Ideally blue with the carbon pack and under 35k miles as this is the only forum I could find I wanted to see what owners experiences were ? Pros and cons of the car ? I will probably do circa 4K a year and it is most likely a second car although I may use it to commute for a year. I usually keep my cars for a good four or five years and the xkr was fantastic best wishes Sim
