  1. Thanks for reply all.. Will reply what ive bought at somepoint. Thanks all.
  2. Its a car you dont see on the road... Currently for me its between a m2 comp/MK5 Supra or RCF.
  3. Thanks for all the replies guys... a lot more to consider than i thought. seen a few for sale but all 2015 and only 1 2017 in white though. If i was to go for one it would be either the ultra sonic blue I think they call it? also would 5 owners be a turn off for any of you? unless got full service history? Seen one which is 89k miles, modded but has a lexus warrenty still. Thought if toyota lexus modded dealer wont touch it?
  4. I called Adrian Flux for insurance for a imported 2015 IS350 F sport got quoted 10k 🤣
  5. Hello All, As title says really thinking about buy an RCF and wanting some opinions on things to consider. Apart from the usual insurance, road tax etc anything in particular if anyone can share? Knowing the engine is a reliable platform anything major to look out for when buying one used? Thanks.
  6. youll need to take your egr our and clean it out. Mines was clogged up lost power one morning when going to work. Manually cleaning is best solution best to use break cleaner and egr cleaener couple quid from euro car parts. see my before and after pics is common issues with the 220d as mentioned above best to buy a 250 or petrol instead.
  7. So my lexus is 220d sport 2006 is having issues where when cold start the engine sometimes stutters to start and revs go up and down or sometimes it just doesnt start and dies. Battery is fine. turbo fine dpf is fine also. no faults showing on techstream. gets a good run everyday pretty much. any ideas what could be cause of this. ill upload a video if needed. thanks,
  8. Has nothing to do with air filter. Also problem was the DPF and EGR instead of opening the EGR and cleaning it bought cataclean for diesel and poured the full bottle into the tank and drove for 30mins. all good now. Going to get rid of the car and get a IS250 fsport.
  9. When engine is warm everything is fine just after a drive it starts to go up and down and engine shakes but at 20k miles a new engine was put in under warranty head gasket is fine plugs are good.
  10. I did see white smoke coming out but I’ve seen it before and then it solved itself. Don’t have the heater or heated seats on a lot. car only has 29k miles for a diesel very little. But it gets used a lot, everyday.
  11. When idle after a drive the revs start to go up and down is this trying to do a dpf regen or this the first signs that dpf is having issues? car gets used everyday on the motorway avg about 39mpg.
  12. There is no harm in trying with a new battery. Also did a Lexus Dealer tell you about these codes or some other garage?
