Just an update on this, had a guy out today he specialises in hybrids, after about 40 mins he couldnt get it started, he said it more than likely the inverter

Oh just seen ur car year these are the power operated bootlids so no manual key function

Realy surprised there is no key slot tucked up where the reg plate sits i thought i was locked out of my boot but i found lock beside one of the reg plate lights

Also initialy igct no2 fuse blew i replaced that and it has blown again if amybody has an idea on that thank

Cheers colin sounds like its a bit much for me to tackle myself, might try a toyota guy a friend knows and see if he can fix it

Definatly dont want to go down main dealer option as i dont trust them anyways, thats y im hoping maybee someone has had a similar experience and can point me in the right direction

Ok so the car was lying up fo around 2 weeks, took it out and was driving it onto the motorway heavy acceleration and next minute it just died, check hybrid system and some other codes, i found a broken fuse in the fuse box, 7.5 belive its one of the hybrid system fuses, replaced it still no joy, tried an obd reader and got a code poa1b wich i tried to clear and its still the same, any help or advice would be greatly appreciated
