Hi guys, I want to do a diy adding an active Underseat sub to my 2013 RX450H. I’m doing a bit of research but it’s slow going but I’m sure there are guys here that would have done this or something similar. (Our heroes 🦸‍♂️) Any help pointing me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. Thoughts so far… *Getting an active subwoofer: (underseat preferably as I use and need the boot space and spare wheel). Options? *Integration with existing ML stereo: Removal? Is there a sub out on this or should I take signal from elsewhere like an existing Amplifier? *Power wiring options? Anything I missed? Cheers guys.

Are the rear shocks from the RX300 compatible with the RX400h?

Hi guys, hoping to change my rear shocks on my 2008 400H so doing some research. Do anyone here have a compatibility list? I think Toyota Highlander fits…and RX300? I may be wrong here…any other? helllpppp😫

Hi, I have been advised by my mechanic that the rear shocks need replacing. My mech is so busy that he asked me to get them myself and then go see him. Having done a bit of searching, I got confused and annoyed with suppliers. Anyone with experience doing these? Any help would be gratefully appreciated. 1) Part number and recommended suppliers? Looks like I’d need the rubber surronh 2) Any upgrades possible (or stick to originals)? 3) Should I consider doing the fronts at the same time (based on the age of the vehicle), or just the rear pair? many thanks fellow Lexus owners👍🏽

Just to be sure....If I go for the Grom BT3, to do audio/music from iPhone (whilst charging), but to retain CD, and Nav, What’s the complete kit I would need? (ie: extra cables necessary or does it come all in?)

So far.... FM transmitters: should be banned. An unnecessary evil😖 Grom VLine: I’ll heed the above caveat, avoid, to have some spare time in my life. Seems like you’d have to sell a kidney 😱. but worth checking... Vais: haven’t been able to check yet.... No love for Parrot?

Right..apologies first. I’m posting this as I could not find a definitive answer (even though I’m sure there are some good ones that I’ve missed). Sorry for that and this long post.😖 Simply put: I’ve got the Mark Levinson head unit with Nav (pics attached). On my previous cars (Mazda 6, VW passat, BMW etc...I’ve moved up now😎), I used the Parrot MKi9200 to do my music listening and phone calls. It seem that the Lexus system is not easy to integrate with. (I usually diy but I got negative answers when I called up the pros). *If I intend to keep the existing head unit, what would the guys here recommend? *If not possible to keep, what are some recommendations for head unit replacements? *diy possible? *anyone tried this: Yatour USB SD AUX IN Kit for Toyota Lexus radio 5+7PIN with Navigation system: https://m.aliexpress.com/i/32627701193.html

Update: the first switch solved! It switches the dvd screens on/off. I would never have seen. Luckily my son spotted it! One down, one to go!

Right thanks guys... I have both front and rear sensors along with the rear camera and dvd screens fitted to the rear of the front seats. Switches didn’t seem to affect the sensors....as in on or off. Or any lights...or any James Bond type smoke or guns!!! I’ll double check to see if it make the sensors act differently but still confused! Its a case of ‘have switch, must use..or at least know what they do!! I update if I get any luck. Thanks again

Hi all, I am new to Lexus ownership (it’s about time right?) so please forgive any naivety. I now have a 2008 RX400H model and it fantastic. However there are a couple of switches that I do not see in the manual (even though they look like original Lexus) and I do not know the functions of them. Don’t know how to attach pics... Can anyone help? much appreciated and regards to all. Michael
