Well that sounds like a plan !
I'm away after this week for a couple so as soon as I'm back I'll bang it on eBay. I certainly don't fancy forking out another £200 on advertising.
Thanks lexi1 :winky:

Have a look at this...
-
not tried eBay - I agree with the comment "may be dodgey" type of scenario.
Trouble is I've already spent around £150 advertising and don't want to do that every couple of weeks.

Try advertising in the Loot :winky:
It's in the poxy loot as well

Thanks for your comments guys. Guess I'll just have to be more patient.
If it doesn't go with these ads I'll try again in a couple of weeks.
Cheers...

I've had my IS up for sale for a couple of weeks now and I've only had one call. I thought I'd priced it keenly but possibly not? Or perhaps there's a glut of used ones at the moment.
I appreciate that auto's aren't as attractive as the manual but I'm surprised I'm getting no calls.
I've advertised it in Exchange & Mart, AutoTrader and AutoCar.
The full spec. can be seen HERE. I've advertised it for £13,750, hoping to take around £13,500.
Am I being too hopeful / unreasonable? Anywhere better to advertise?
All comments appreciated. Thank you.

I get the "allowance" so use my own car and get 0.12p / mile, think this is also supposed to cover oil

I can HIGHLY recommend THESE from PIAA.. They're not the cheapest but they're probably the best. I used them before I took the plunge and went for HID.
Bare in mind the one's you're looking at on eBay are rated at 7500K, these will be quite blue in colour. For the truest WHITE colour you should be looking at around the 4200K colour temperature mark. :zee:

How about I post another of these articles?
May be how to polish your car?
How do you guys feel about that?
Well personally i'd love to see an article on how to "correctly" polish your car.
The clay article was fantastic. Thank you! :D

TRY HERE :winky:

A couple was invited to a posh family masked fancy dress Halloween party.
The wife got a terrible headache and told her husband to go to the party
alone. He, being a devoted husband, protested, but she argued and said
she was going to take some aspirin and go to bed and there was no need
for his good time to be spoiled by not going.
So he took his costume and away he went.
The wife, after sleeping soundly for about an hour, woke without pain and
as it was still early, decided to go to the party.
As her husband didn't know what her costume was, she thought she
would have some fun by watching her husband to see how he acted when
she was not with him.
So she joined the party and soon spotted her husband in his costume,
cavorting around on the dance floor, dancing with every nice chick he could
and copping a little feel here and a little kiss there.
His wife went up to him and being a rather seductive babe herself, he left
his new partner high and dry and devoted his time to her. She let him go
as far as he wished, naturally, since he was her husband.
After more drinks he finally whispered a little proposition in her ear and
she agreed, so off they went to one of the cars and had passionate
intercourse in the back seat.
Just before unmasking at midnight, she slipped away and went home and
put the costume away and got into bed, wondering what kind of
explanation he would make up for his outrageous behavior.
She was sitting up reading when he came in, so she asked what kind of
time he had.
"Oh, the same old thing. You know I never have a good time when you're
not there."
Then she asked, "Did you dance much?" He replied, "I'll tell you, I never
even danced one dance.
When I got there, I met Pete, Bill Brown and some other guys, so we went
into the spare room and played poker all evening."
"You must have looked really silly wearing that costume playing poker all
night!" she said with unashamed sarcasm.
To which the husband replied, "Actually, I gave my costume to your Dad,
apparently he had the time of his life."

vibration is a characteristic of all IS200 Auto's and that the matter is now closed.
I can't say I've noticed any sort of vibration and that's after two years. I would say that it's definately NOT a characteristic and they're just trying to fob you off

I also have a Plat Ice and wondered about this. See you (RYX) have had yours painted to match.
How much are they going for then?
Had mine painted from new a couple of years ago, certainly makes a big difference.
Mine aren't for sale though :shutit:

Not sure if you can see too much from my avatar. May have close up at home if you're interested?

I had mine fitted recently...
1) It is wired through the stereo with a couple of relays. Any competant fitter should be able to do this
2) My bracket is clipped on the left of the dashboard by the "direction knob" for the climate control.
3) My aerial is a tax disc holder and I cannot fault it.
Good luck :)

Just out of interest, are the jets heated??
NO - mine took nearly an hour before I could use them this morning. Temp didn't rise above 1deg

Perhaps Chris Shipley could let us know how much it is?
May be even let us know if it's a straight swap?
-
Received with thanks :D
-
I asked my dealer if this was possible when I bought mine in April '02 and was told "no".
All I found was THIS but never bought one.
I still miss it from my last car and would still get one if it was reasonable.
-
Any ideas when Chris?
Thanks....
