Hmm, did not think about it. Can they be turned off? I checked the settings from OEM and the settings were correct. Is there any other way i could have turned them off?? Oh no while writing it back to you I guess I have disabled the parking while getting the car washed by automatic machine at shell… will check it first thing tomorrow…. My Car was not used for a month as I went abroad. However, when I returned back I realised that the reverse sensors of the car stopped working. The car no longer beeps when closing an obstacle. I was so reliant on it that I was almost about to hot another car while parking, but did not... Has anyone experienced the same issue? and what should I do to resolve it ? Visit Lexus service center?

Quickly checking what everyone uses in their car to smell fresh? I have tried a couple of air fresheners but they do not work (I am sure I am not using the right ones). The other day, I took it for internal cleaning and the freshener used by the cleaner was amazing (I forgot to ask them what they used and I cannot go to them again as they are far away from me). So, I was wondering if someone can please help me with some pointers on how to keep it fresh?

Hello Everyone, I just realised 😞 that my lexus does not have a rear privacy glass. It was not a deal breaker when I was buying a car. However, now I think it would be better to get them tinted. What would you suggest? Is tinting a good idea? and from where I shouls get it done? Any suggestions or help is approciated.

I am glad to know that you are using the same tyres and have faced no issues and on the top you always look forward to replace your tyres with the same model. I will give a thorough check to the tyre's inside edge, will also test on M4 Berkshire and if I still face issue will let Lexus know. But I cannot thank you enough for all your support 🙂 I have taken service plan from from Lexus hedge end, as I bought car from them, but will check with them if I can go lexus Reading going forward..

@wharfhouse I checked all the tyres, they are BluEarth (E51) from Yokohama. Tyres looks fine and not worn. I believe I should it to someone else for testing it and if they have the same feedback. One thing is for sure I usually drive on the left lane and as per the kwikfit guys that is the lane mostly used by heavy trucks that can change the road structure...

Finally got wheel alignment checked from kwik fit for free. Nothing odd here, not sure to trust it.

My Lexus IS 300h pulls to either left or right and I have to steer either side to keep it straight. Not sure if this is an issue or something else? I have tested it with my lexus lane assistant set to ON. On a straight road I was expecting the car to drive straight and not pulls on either side. Any comments or thoughts?

Thanks Herb, Info from you have surely given me enough confidence 🙂. I am just making up my mind to either go for GROM or an Android HU. I wanted GROM, but was thinking to get 10.5 inches screen (looks cooler 😉 ) , but I guess the installation process should be the same for both, just that in case of Android HU I will have to remove the current screen which looks very simple.

No worries at all. I looked at a few videos but was worried that I will be unconscious watching all these wires 😄 so, wanted some help with someone who can sit and watch me dismantle and assemble it again. I am at Farnborough and about 4 hours away from you ... but if it comes to a point I will check with you if you are available and if we can do it together... Just a few points I wanted to check, if you can please help: 1. Do I void the warranty in any case from Lexus? If the warranty voided only for infotainment then I am ok, but not the full car 😞 2. Do I need to remove the negative terminal of the battery before installation? All the videos I saw did not remove the battery terminal but I was not sure if airbags can be triggered by any issue?

Quick update, after having a word with Halfords. As per Halfords, one would need to install a 2-Din system. To install 2-DIN system a facia needs to be installed, costing around 40-50 GBP. Plus a bunch of harness. You will need to buy a 2-Din from Halfords too for the installation. The 2 din installed will not support the steering wheels control and will also not support reverse camera. Not sure the person who interacted with me was experienced or not, but made me believe that Halfords cannot perform the installation. I might have to try it myself... If successful, will let everyone know

I did go through some videos on the installation and I am still not very confident on the installation of it, so I am hoping to give it to someone who have more hands on.
