  1. There appears to be no official CatLoc device for the ES? Could not find it on the website. ES not a target in the same way the Prius is. In most areas I am sure you would be fine without it.
  2. Looking at when I agreed to buy mine in November 2021. It was £31,590 and not 690 as first thought with a standard Metallic paint selection of Graphite Black. So only gone up £8 since then. Also got the dealer to throw in the rubber mats as part of the deal. The ES is a sweet spot in the Lexus range offering much better value for money than the other vehicles. In the ES range also the Premium Edition has to be the best value model, even if you do have to push buttons to fold the mirrors!
  3. Sorry I do not know about the part ex, but not sure why it would differ. Looks like prices have moved slightly from when I bought it last year. As Carwow prices are dynamic and update constantly. If I log in these are the offers as of today:
  4. For £31,690 with metallic paint it is quite a good amount of car for the money. Crazy not to take the finance. I plan to pay it off immediately but you have to pay 52 days worth of interest was told by the dealer. No need to pay anything close to £35k.
  5. Not sure about how the price rise will go but the Premium Edition using Carwow can be had for £31,690. Not the more expensive and confusingly named Premium Pack but the one up from the base Premium Edition. Which is very good value. In Nov 2021 I ordered mine for that price. Do not pay too much for one especially considering the long waits.
  6. No access to track the vehicle sadly, online or mobile. The registered email address shows 0 vehicles listed. I queried this and was advised 'you can only track when the build has started'. Dealership is Stephen Eagell franchise also but at Cambridge. Interesting how you got phone calls every other week, have had nothing of the sort.
  7. Perhaps unlucky by not having the best dealer, perhaps also I am expecting too much. As this is the first Lexus ordered and switching from another manufacturer maybe the expectations were too high? Was expecting the dealer to be responsive and provide a level of service that is premium in terms of customer service and any change to delivery dates would be informed ASAP. Only found out about the changes to dates so far by me chasing them. Sorry to say that the Lexus brand is not held in such high esteem as it was in November 2021 when the order was placed. Also the lack of spare wheel on the ES has been a further disappointment and Lexus UK have put in writing for me that they do not support adding a spare wheel is it would not then be UK spec. Every other car owned before has always had the option of having a spare wheel if it is not standard. Certainly the experience so far as removed any positivity around purchasing a new car! Even as I type this message the dealer has not responded. Things can only improve as it cannot get much worse....
  8. Ordered end of Nov last year. Was going to buy a new NX but opted for the ES due to the significant levels of discount possible. Was told April, then May, then June. Now not sure as dealer has not responded to my email asking for a further update. Seems to be the customer that always has to do the chasing.
  9. I am also keen to know if the Camry spare wheel fits. Dealer absolutely useless on the matter and not helpful. I find it astonishing that an exec saloon like the ES does not have a spare yet many budget cars can have one if you pay extra. My ES is on order so not got it yet but really concerned about not having a spare, never had a car before with a puncture repair kit. Are other owners not bothered about this?
  10. First post here ordered a new ES late November. Was advised April delivery but now it seems to be delayed until June. Not very happy with the delay or the lack of spare wheel. What makes it worse is that the dealer cannot just give you the part numbers to order as an optional extra. Not available have been advised for the UK market. Whilst the car is superb the lack of spare wheel, mudflaps and extended delay has overall been a disappointment. Even a new Dacia for £10k can be purchased with mudflaps and can be supplied with a space saver if you pay extra
