    Correct. The tax is a huge reason why I decided to go down this route. In a few years, I'll go full EV when the infrastructure is ready, longer range and actually make a car that drives well. Top of my list were the Tesla model Y and the NX phev. Drove both of them and the model Y felt like I was riding a horse. Model 3 was much better but too small for the family

    Both. It can run like the standard 350h or there's an option to use the engine to charge the battery but I would advise against that as that is the least economic thing to do.

    Lexus now updated their website. My dealer however says free callbox is not available for lease vehicles, not sure how true this is.     Isn't this enough to push you to the phev? The standard 350h does not allow that

    You're missing a few things. 1. Majority people doing day to day usual driving can drive on purely electric which is a lot cheaper than petrol/diesel. 2. No need to worry about when and where to stop on the longer weekend drives as you have an engine. No worries about not having enough electric charging points etc 3. The phev is fantastic for tax through an ltd. All the features and benefits of electric plus the convenience of petrol.

    Has anyone leasing the 450h been offered the free wallbox? My dealer says the deal doesn't apply to lease vehicles.

    I think I believe my dealer when he says the dealers are just lying about early delivery dates to get the sales in.

    Only if you get the prem plus pack or f-sport. Standard 450 comes with 18s. I suspect most of them in the UK will have 20s as most people will go for prem plus or f sport.

    Does anyone know the reason why we don't get electric folding rear seats or even a lever in the boot to fold the rear seats but they seem to be on the US spec?

    Fantastic. May I ask why this beats the lot in your opinion? I've just put in n order today for the 450h prem plus but was a little worried it's got slightly less space inside compared to an X3 and Q5

    Just spoke to my dealer and apparently some dealers are literally lying to customers and hoping the cars come in early.

    Which dealer are you with? I'm looking at placing an order this week for 450 also Sonic grey and my dealer says it's likely delivery will be September!
