Hello Mr Vlad Kind of you to respond. However, success (fingers crossed) I bought a VSC Off plug - in for the OBD socket and there you go VSC light off. Philip

I think Barry has given an excellent posting. PSA testing has never been a serious diagnostic marker for prostate cancer. However, whilst the only current diagnostic is a prostate biopsy (ouch!!). There is some good work being done on less painful diagnostics, so hopefully you will last until then! By the way if you do want a PSA test they are readily available in the NHS by asking your GP. Back to VSC Lights - I have tried all the laymen or should it be laypersons? Methods of extinguishing this light. Interesting I note that the location of the jumper is different on different posts. Can anybody that has successfully extinguished the light let me know what terminals you used - all I managed was to change the language on my GPS to Japanese!!!

I know this topic has been discussed and discussed but as a newbie (three months in to my 2002 SC430) my particular issue does not seem to be covered? Following a slow puncture, fixed by Quick Fit My TPMS light followed by my VSC and VSC Off light came on. Quick Fit sorted the TPS light but could not sort the VSC Light, simply saying there were not any codes on their OBD equipment. Followed the advice given i.e. paper-clip and battery terminal disconnect tips with no result. Took the car to an Auto-electrician and he diagnoses the main computer was faulty with a replacement price, of£000's. My nearest Lexus dealer is approx 100 miles away and being a disabled pensioner budget has to be a consideration. Can you help! with a low-cost alternative/suggestion please Thanks Philip
