  1. maybe....... but your money isn't :D There won't be an auto because it won't help you :) Diesel driving is like opening a bottel of soda....... pfffffffftttTT! .... and all power is gone :D :D ←
  2. OH YOU ARE A FICKLE LOT! :shutit: I THINK IT LOOKS ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC, AS DOES MY PRESENT IS. NOBODY CAN FAULT THE CURRENT INTERIOR SURELY.... oooh IT IS SO EASY TO CRITICISE. ANYWAY HOW MUCH IS IT???? CANT SEARCH ALL THROUGH NOW TO FIND OUT.
  3. proably not legal, i am told it looks like the mafia coming to town when i arrive. you cannot even see t he driver from outside at all. asked for slight tint on front windows when i ordered, when I collected (new) car when it was a seriously sunny day, july, and did not look so bad. when it was serviced asked again for removal, not done, phoned manager, he said there was nothing on my notes saying i wanted a lighter tint.... surely we all know that front windows are always tinted lighter than rear, not ten times darker. he said he had no one now who could remove it. I will sort him out now, about wheels as well. sorry about that - this is wheels discussion, not windows
  4. Well h e l l o.... :D ← hi there, yes hope my wheels will be changed under warranty, they started corroding some long time ago, but to be honest, it was only when i discovered this site that i realised i could claim under warranty, hopefully I wanted my front windows slightly tinted when i bought the car, and they were done twice as dark as the back (already tinted glass), because the guy apparently only had lighter and darker tints, not anything suitable, and used the darker one. The lexus manager has not been helpful in sorting it, so i will definitely sort him out about the wheels! :duh:
  5. thank you galla, yes i am deeply in love with my lexus sport. need to get my corroded wheels changed very soon, they have been bad for some time.
  6. thank you red eye for acknowledging me, you are the first one to do so! sorry though, i cannot help you about the wheel enquiry, although you seem to have had some good replies. :winky:
  7. Oh that is interesting. Hopefully if mine are changed they will be the superior quality. I didnt realise that the wheels would be covered under warranty in this way, so am pleased to see alll this info. After all, it is an expensive car, so you expect quality, and mine has only done 16000 in two years, basically around town.I must say though, apart from the corrosion, it is a gorgeous car in every way.
  8. I am so surprised on visiting this site there are so many alloy wheel corrosion problems. I assumed I was the only one with bubbling on well looked after wheels. Obviously not... I am off to the dealership. Two year old IS 200 sport with 16000 miles/ :P
  9. I have an IS200 sport two years old. wheels always cleaned and was upset to find bubbling under surface of all four wheels. Husband said probably caused by salt on roads in winter... I have worked hard not to scratch the alloys so am well upset about corrosion. Was advised by husband's friend to apply under warranty, did not realise I could for that, so I will follow that up. Was surprised to find so many on this site with this problem. The dealership scratched my paintwork when it was last with them, so I have not got much faith in them but will be pleased for new wheels, I too was wondering whetherdamage to rims would be detrimental to a claim , altho mine is only on one of t hem. Thought the japs had it all sussed, mind you what a gorgeous car..... :o
