  1. if you get a set super, let me know where you got them from. will
  2. check this out. you may need to resize your browser window once it has loaded DRIVING INSTRUCTIONS
  3. I have tefloseal on the care - it's a laquer that helps protect the paint - would that make a difference? hmmm... you got me there. i've used this method to remove stickers from a mountain bike. the paintwork was fine after. the lighter fluid acts as a 'thinner' and loosens the adhesive.
  4. use some lighter fulid (the kind you use in zippo lighters, not the gas type). apply the fulid to the area. leave to soak for a few minutes and then remove with your finger nails. repeat as needed.
  5. this may be a a 2 part post. it all depends on what i can find out today about another matter regarding the lex dealer in question and if anyone can can shed any light on this matter. i saw my dealer last night about a problem i had on my is200 sport(i'll post the details of this once i get some response from this post) and during a friendly chat & a coffee conversation led on to the new shpae IS, which according to him was coming out in 2005. he sensed i was a bit concerned about the new arrival and since from a pervious visit i had shown an interrest in the IS300 sportscross, he said when i wanted to get a new car, he would lend me the sportscross for a couple of days (nice guy!) anyway conversation went a bit further and he made the statement about the numbers of IS's in the country, saying that "Lexus only allow 6-7K IS's in the UK each year as opposed to the 30K+ BMW 3 series" on another occasion, i was told that Lexus are only intending to to release 250 SC430's in any one year in the UK as well.... Is there any truth in these figures? Is my lex dealer telling me porkies to make me feel... special? will
  6. has anyone imported a set of rims from the US or further a field? i'm after a set of 19's and find the selction in the UK a bit limiting. i was just wondering if anyone has imported a set for themselves and if so, where from. could you name check some websites for me and let me know how smoothly the transaction went. thanks will

  8. i'm after a set of zenetti 'tak' 19's, but they only seem to be available in the US. anyone know any stockist in the UK? tried emailing Zenetti direct, but they keep ignoring my request. will
  9. you're beginning to show your age now claire! but then again since i know who you're on about so i am!! damn! playa>>> congrats on the new ride. i got my IS sport 6 months ago now, and i still drive around with a huge grin on my face.
  10. thanks brn7y. ... and for my next question, does anyone know any places in the UK where they sell Zenetti rims.
  11. Hello all I picked up my new 02 is200 sport just before Easter and since then I have had TTE front, rear and side skirts fitted. With the extra bodywork, my poor 17's are looking... well, a bit small. I’m new to modifications and upgrades and this lex is only the second car I ever owned, so please, excuse my stupidity! I’ve read through the forums on rims and suspension, but still I’m unclear on a few things. If I fit some 19' x 8's, apart from bending away some of plastic on the front wheel arches to get full lock, is there anything else I need to do? Do I need to get some new springs to harden the suspension to counteract that I have bigger wheels or am I going to be all right running the standard lex setup? I’m just a bit concerned that if I have a full load in the car or go over some potholes will the tries rub. Thanks Will
