  1. Finally picked up our new NX on Friday!!!! 🥳 👏 🙌 🥳 🙌 👏 🥳 🙌 👏 🥳 So happy to finally have our car! It’s gorgeous and everything we wanted 💗 Our dealership ended up throwing in a few freebies too, to compensate us for the order mix up, so that’s made things better too 😊 It brings to an end, what feels like a very long wait, for the car we ordered back in September 2022. Looking forward to enjoying everything our new car has to offer!
  2. Quick update - should be collecting our replacement NX within the next week! It arrived on a ship 2/3 weeks ago. Fingers crossed the spec on this one is correct 🙄 (we didn’t order the one we are waiting on, the dealership could see it was coming over on a ship and has told us it’s the specification we originally asked for in September 2022). I’ll let you know if all goes to plan soon 🤞
  3. Well, actually we are in the UK and got Graphite Black and this was definitely not a free colour! It’s a sparkling black metallic paint. The only free colours in the UK are ‘matt black and matt red’ the rest are special or metallic and are an extra cost

  5. Quick update - we are currently driving the NX350h we originally ordered! My husband went back to the dealership on Saturday and told them we would not accept the UX as a satisfactory solution (even if temporary) until the correct NX arrives. We proposed to them that we take away the NX that we thought was ours and that we’d keep it until the replacement arrives in November. And, they agreed! Its not ideal as can’t stand the manual seats but at least we get to drive the 73 we had waited a year for. Just wish they had got it right in the first place! Fingers crossed, the car on its way is in fact, the correct spec this time
  6. Just wanted to let you know about our experience when collecting our 350h this morning. Once all boring paperwork sorted (seemed to take forever) we headed out to the car, us in the front with salesman in the back (just to show us a couple of the basics before we headed off). Car looked absolutely gorgeous in Graphite Black and dark rose interior, so excited at this point to drive it away and have some fun! However, just as the salesman was about to begin, I tried to adjust my seat and couldn’t locate the button? I quickly realised that the car had only got manual seats!! We asked for premium pack with Lexus link pro and electric seat pack. Clearly nobody at the dealership checked this prior to handover day 😤 We then had to go back into dealership whilst they tried to rectify the situation. One option was to reorder the correct spec car but this wouldn’t be with us for another 4 months or more! They then managed to locate an exact match for ours (actually with electric seats this time) on a ship which is due around 4th November. Having to wait another 2 months may not seem a lot but when you’ve already waited a year it’s a bit of a kick in the teeth. Especially after allowing us to get in what we thought was our new car 😞 By this time, I just wanted to leave the dealership so they gave us a UX to drive temporarily. They have said to give them a few days to see what other options they might be able to come up with but I’m not holding my breath. We have gone from a day that should have been full of fun and excitement to being left extremely deflated 😞
  7. Oh okay. I wish I had thought to do that! Having a dog, it would have been great to have picked the car up with at least a boot liner!
  8. That’s great 😃 Could I ask, did you pre order the rubber mats etc or did they just give them to you on the day of collection?
  9. Did you order in the UK? I thought waiting since September 22 was bad! I’ve just been onto our local dealership and they’ve confirmed we can collect next Saturday! It is extremely frustrating though, when you read on here of others that have had a much shorter wait and an overall better experience with Lexus. They should treat all there customers the same
  10. Just the run flats are Bridgestones and our dealer told us that the ride is actually harsher on the run flats 🤷🏻‍♀️
  11. 😭 I really want ours to arrive now! We’ve been waiting since September 22 and it feels like everyone else is getting their cars but we are not 😭 Wish it would hurry up!

  14. Just looked at my map and it’s all in grey now, even from Japan! Im guessing they have an issue with the app, otherwise my car gone back to the factory 😂
  15. All you have to do is put car in reverse, then adjust the mirror to how you’d like it and then car will memorise this position and put it there each time you put into reverse 👍
  16. Yes it shows my my24 on order but won’t recognise our current 2021 model!
  17. I’m not sure how much you can actually trust the website to be honest? So looking at your map, where does it suggest your car is now?
  18. To be fair the old app is saying the same now! And I’ve had an email from Lexus saying the car is at their ‘UK hub’ which I assume is Derby. Fingers crossed on the home straight now
  19. Dust down with a feather duster type product (never use microfibre cloth it will scratch it!) and then use 303 aerospace protectant 👍
  20. Thing is, when you look up average prices for is make/model, the price Lexus offering him is actually alright! Especially when you consider they have to make some sort of profit.
